Works great and keeps Mini 2 se under 250 grams. Came in at 246.17 to be precise. It was attached using the 3m velcro tape that was provided. Has red whit or green colored lights and is super bright for the size. To test the stickiness of the velcro, I put it in sport mode and just went forwards and backwards, left and right in quick succession to try and jolt it off. Light stayed put. For this price point, it's fantastic. If it does die or fall off, I will buy another. ... show more

I am still learning to fly and found this light very helpful to see drone orientation at day and night. At first I placed on top but found that placing on side was much easier to see. The velcro seems to be fine and have no worries about light falling off. The light case is nice and compact which is about the same size of my Air2S battery. So it fits nicely in case in a battery compartment. Light seems to hold charge longer than I expected from reading other reviews. Light is super light and small so has no effect on drone when flying. ... show more

A quick and easy install that makes your drone instantly legal to fly at night… as long as you have your part 107. My only complaint (and what cost it the 5th star) was the command strip velcro that came with was very crude… I had to superglue the one strip because it kept coming loose from the light. The fastener system could be better overall… but you MacGyver it, and it will hold. I guess thats the cost of it being so cheap. I would buy it again if I needed a light for another drone. ... show more

Nice and compact for something small like Mini series drones from DJI. The strobe is obnoxiously bright and annoying when taking off and landing to the point where once it's below 20ft, just use your screen to land it or you will be seeing stars after watching it land, especially if your sending it back up again. As bright as it is, you CAN NOT see the strobe any more above average roof heights from the ground at night if it's mounted on top of the drone. That was my only disappointment about this strobe, not being able to see it in the air but I was able to see the built in drone's lights instead. The strobe is also unseen in any pictures and videos at night which is good if you were concerned about that. ... show more

I received these 2 units and charged immediately, took about 20 mins to charge up, so, obviously held some charge from before. 1st unit I tried, only lasted about 1hr 20 mins and died. I was disappointed as web page advertises a 4hr battery life. So, I decided to charge again, which this time took 1hr 30mins, and do the test again. On the 2nd test, I was extremely surprised that the strobe battery lasted over 5 HOURS!!!. This was on fast white strobe. I performed the same routine on the 2nd unit and still got in excess of 5 hours on fast white strobe. I assume that this performance would be the same on either White/Green or Red strobe. This tiny little unit far outstripped my expectations, and will definitely be useful on my Mini 4 Pro drone. I am not sure of the durability and integrity of using Velcro to fasten the strobes to the drone, I have only done 1 flight with strobes attached, and they were still attached after 20 mins flying. Time will tell. I am thinking that I will maybe change the Velcro every 10 or 15 flights when using the strobe. The velcro on the wing is stuck on the underside of the wing/leg and does not interfere with folding or storing the drone. The Velcro on the bottom has to be carefully located, so as not to stick to the battery. I have no tested how far away I can see here strobes a night yet, its -8c just now, so, staying close to home just now. Be very careful when testing the strobe lights and avoid looking directly at the strobes.....you will have some funky vision for a few mins. One last comment here, and I am not sure whether it's a VIFLY or Amazon issue. I bought my first strobe here in Canada and paid $55 with taxes for 1 unit. I had seen on FB someone post the same thing that they had bought for $14!! WTH.....so, I went on Amazon US and sure enough, approx $14 each USD. I bought 2 units and with exchange and shipping, it came to $2 less than I had paid for 1 unit in Canada. BE AWARE, someone is scamming here. ... show more
