  • Works With G-Sync so far, Best Colors I've Found in TN
Style: 24 Inch FHD 144Hz
I was able to enable G-Sync with a display port cable and GTX 2070. The colors for this monitor are some of the best I've seen for a TN monitor - I have my colors set to User and brightness to 90% as I can't find a good resource for someone who has already calibrated this monitor. Changing from Native to User for me made a big difference in reducing the "pink" hue and now the colors look almost perfect (remember - this is a TN panel) I also set it to Ultra Fast setting for the response time which is EXTREMELY fast. I will update the review if I have any flickering issues, ghosting etc but for now I am very happy for this monitor that IMO is worth well over $200. Just has uglier bezels then the big boys. ... show more

  • Excellent for price!
Style: 24 Inch FHD 144Hz
For 24” non-curved monitor version - Amazing, clear, good price. 144hz option easy to switch on in windows (comes preset at 60), by going Display > Advanced Display Settings > Display Adapter Properties > Monitor > drop down menu for Screen Refresh Rate. Runs amazing at very high FPS if you choose (looked great at 180, but I capped my in-game settings to 100 for gfx card sake). Comes with decent built in speaker so I didn’t have to order external speakers. ... show more

  • Amazing monitor with ONE hiccup
Style: 27-Inch 2K 165Hz Curved
I absolutely love this monitor but I did run into one minor hiccup. The monitor is advertised as having a 165hz refresh rate when plugged in via DisplayPort. They even provide you with a display port cable! But when I set the monitor up I was limited to 120hz and for the life of me, I could not figure out why. I reinstalled graphic drivers, messed with settings, even had my friend who is better with computers than myself come over and see if he could figure out why I could not access the 165hz. Then it hit me, maybe the cable is bad. So I drove to the same friends house and borrowed a cable form him and sure enough it worked! Kind of bummed me out that I spent so long troubleshooting this when the problem was the provided DisplayPort cable the whole time. TLDR: If you have problems getting the advertised 165hz refresh rate I suggest you order a new DisplayPort cable. ... show more

  • WOW!!!
Style: 24 Inch FHD 144Hz
Coming from a 60hz HDTV and monitor, this is a breath of fresh air!! I can not believe what I have been missing. I was originally looking to get a 43" 4k TV as an upgrade but found this and thought Id take a chance... WOW!!! 1080p at 144hz is amazazing!!! I couldnt think my games and vids could look much better... Now for the bad but this has nothing to do with the monitor.... I was so impressed with this monitor when I hooked it up, I immediately wanted a 2nd one.... Got right back on to amazon and pressed buy it again, only to see the price had shot up to $475!!!!!! I paid $160!!!! What the heck amazon??? Even the manufacturer isnt asking $475!!!! So I put one in my cart and decided to watch and see... the price jumped from 475 to 210 to 199 to 210 to 475 in less than 24 hours!! In stock to out of stock to 1 remaining... very very frustrating to say the least... what is this.. Ebay? Cmon now... Well, i did buy another direct from ViewSonic because whoever is maintaining this listing is on crack... 5 stars for Viewsonic and thier product.... ZERO stars for amazon for the _ _ _ _ show that ensued when I wanted to purchase another... ... show more

  • Received two broken monitors back to back, save yourself a headache and buy from another brand
Style: 24 Inch FHD 144Hz
So after looking all over Amazon and Google for a good budget 144hz 1ms monitor, I finally decided on this one. I got it last Friday (Jan 11th, 2019) and it has little black lines all across the bottom half of the screen (see pictures). Okay whatever, sometimes stuff like that happens, so I request a replacement a repack the broken one to mail it back the following week on my day off. The replacement got here today (Jan 15th, 2019) and this one has several discolored lines stretching across the length of the bottom half of the screen. I can understand one broken monitor coming, but two back to back? Seriously? Either I have worse luck than a man who tripped over a litter of black cats and fell through 17 mirrors, or Viewsonic needs to do something about their manufacturing process and quality control. Just save yourself time, money, and frustration and go buy another from another brand. ... show more

  • Pretty good for its price.
Style: 24 Inch FHD 144Hz
So far so good, setting up was easy. Tweaked my settings to my preference and absolutely love the quality of this monitor. As for the built-in speakers, don't mind them although would recommend to get better quality individual speakers if you intend to blast music. As for gaming I use my personal headset. As for refresh rate, I can notice a big difference jumping from a 60hz monitor. Lastly, I'll come back to further review the life span since most on here have gotten defective ones. Sadly it seems not to be G-syncible but its probably my GPU.. In case it helps anyone. I do have a Geforce Nvida 1060 6GB. Unless AMD are only allowed the "specific" settings then nevermind but with a display port can get instant 144hz. (I'm new to gaming monitors so excuse if I offend anyone or sounds very ridiculous..) ... show more

  • Great deal
Style: 24 Inch FHD 144Hz
Purchased 2 24in. 144hz freesync, only vertical tilt. Great product. Got two I have been using for a couple weeks. The panels look pretty good despite being tn. Can't beat 144hz with freesync and vesa mount compatible for $150. Got an inexpensive dual arm vesa mount to go with them, and it's been a dream. I had heard that high refresh rates could make a difference, and they really do (especially in games like Rocket League, which is the only game I play where it makes more than an aesthetic difference). ... show more
