Fastest shipping ever! Arrived in 2 packages both were secure and well packed. The styrofoam packing panels broke into particles which ended up EVERYWHERE including in the interior of the table. I had to vacuum the table to remove the particles. I am not sure the table base is level but I have it on carpet so that is "forgiving". The wood is very dark, so if you are going for a light, driftwood, beachy feel, this piece may not work. Finally, there are NOT suction cups to secure the tempered glass top only small bumpers. The width of the base is large enough that I feel a heavy object would not topple it, but a child bumping into it could present a problem. This piece is unique and I am satisfied. ... show more

The base is made of different chunks of wood glued together....acceptable look, but not what I expected. I thought it would be a malformed stump....It looks ok for the price...No assembly required. Glass and base where packaged good. I would buy it again at this price...serves it's purpose.

It's a side table. I needed a cocktail table. I replaced the glass with a 36" 1/2' beveled glass piece. The larger glass top with this solid wood base is perfect as a cocktail table.

The glass top comes off the wooden baae easily and its super hard to move the table even an inch from its place as it get stuck to the carpet and leave wooden chips while moving. Big nails are visible from the top.
