We bought these for our daughters wedding. We looked at renting, but found that renting tablecloths would have been about the same (maybe a little more) than just buying these. We knew that if they came and we were unhappy we could still return them and rent, so we decided to give it a try. The fabric is fine. It looks nice. White as expected with a nice shine. The length was perfect (to the floor) on a 8' round table. We have not had a problem with any stains (yet) that we haven't been able to wash out. Obviously when they arrived they needed to have the wrinkles removed. We threw them individually in the clothes dryer for a few minutes with a cup of water and it steamed them out almost perfectly. We then just laid them over our couch to try to keep the wrinkles out and then took them en masse over to the reception. They looked perfect and we are very happy that we have them. We have already loaned them out to another family in our neighborhood who had a formal event just last weekend.

They worked for an indoor baby shower. Came to the floor on an 8 ft. Round table. These are very thin so I don't think they would look as good outside in bright sunshine. You would see straight through them.
