I like this light because it is very bright and people know you are coming if you have it in the strobe mode. Also makes an excellent headlight. The tail light did not function correctly on the first order. The only problem is the charge on the headlight is only good for one ride. Needs a bigger battery. I only need to charge at most once a week. Love the feature that tells you how many hours of service are left before needing to be charged. These are bright, so bright that during the day I need to angle the light down. Not only useful for cars to see you, but it gives warning ahead to pedestrians that something is coming. So many wear headphones, that this visual caution flashing light really helps to avoid crashes with pedestrians, too. I bought this light because it looked like it would work well on a flat handlebar. It does (see picture). I looked through many lights available on Amazon and saw that the mount on this one looked like it would do the job. Most of the lights are designed for round bars. Many high end road bikes nowadays have flat bars. I think this one would also work fine on a round bar. It's bright, and has all of the modes you would expect. From the Amazon pictures I thought it may be a little goofy looking to put on my very expensive bike, but to my delight it is nice looking and fairly compact. As for the rear light, I already have several identical to this, they are quite common, they are not my favorite but they do the job, and hold a charge for a long time. Both lights require you to toggle through all of the modes to get to the mode you want, and then to turn them off. My preference is for a long press to turn off, and then when turning on it returns to the last mode used. A minor annoyance. Both have USB-C which is great. I own the smaller bike light this company makes, really like it. I was looking for something brighter fit extra dark places of my rides. The smaller light has 2 LEDs, so I decided to try their 8 LED light. Appears well made, love the digital percentage battery display and time remaining display. Appreciate the ability to use as power bank, but not really important to me. I was disappointed to see that the brightness of this light was barely greater than the smaller light they make. Hardly any difference in brightness. Confusing given the differences in straight weight and size. The smaller one is cheaper, but does get noticably dim after an hour. I really like the rear red light on this set. Bigger and brighter than many others I've tried. ... show more

Starting with the positives, I really like the breathing feature. I think safety wise, blinking lights are easier for cars to see and process as a bicycle, but most blinking lights blink so fast that they're hard for the cyclist to see anything with and hurts the eyes of any onlooker. So the breathing light feature is great. The light is super bright, which is maybe a good and bad thing. I'm not trying to blind people, just be seen. The battery life is rubbish. I typically just use the breathing feature and it'll use like 3/4 of the battery in a single 7-mile bike ride. This wouldn't be so bad if the light didn't take 8+ hours to fully charge. I read a review that the light stays on the mode you last used it on, which I was excited for since I typically always use the same mode, but that's not been my experience. I have to cycle through 4 other options to get to the one I want every time I turn it on. Which again wouldn't be a big deal if the button was easier to press. It often clicks without changing the light, and has to be pressed really hard. This is also frustrating because you have to maintain that hard hold for 5 or so seconds to shut the light off. Overall, it gets the job done, but I wouldn't order this light again. ... show more
