It is one of those items that you can find in Chinatown so do not expect great quality. I would give 1 star for quality and 0 stars for instructions on how to use it. However it does work as described it. It was hard to follow the instructions on how to pair the device with the remote but after several attempts it worked. It is functional, a good size and looks like the light and symbols are visible in daylight (tested inside at this time with bright lights in the room). Could be cheaper in price. Perhaps $10/15 would be a fair price. The device does pack many features (it is not just a red light). I could not get it paired going by the instructions. What I did was turn the unit on (by holding the button for 3 seconds). Held the button another 3 seconds until it flashed "C". Then removed the battery from the remote. As soon as I reinstalled the battery, it paired. It's bright, but is barely-to-not visible in strong direct sunlight. I like the remote, it works the same as the turn signals in your car with the exception you have to turn it off by moving the selector back to it's Neutral position. But that's not a big deal, the remote has blinking green arrows to indicate it's still on, you can't miss it. The remote has long distant range. I tried it at 30 feet...just because that's what guys do, LOL. My sole intention for use is the turn signals. However, I have to test everything! The flashing light symbols and the laser would be great for Warning lights. It would be really hard to miss seeing them. I gave this 4 stars because I have not used it for what it was purchased for, I'm putting it on the back of my quad for when I'm on the roadway at night. I will update my review later regarding battery life and anything else that may be helpful, positive or negative. ... show more

This Bicycle turning signal light for my bicycle was the worst one I ever bought as a Teen student. The device was very cheaply made in my eyes. First of all, when I got the item in from Amazon what I have notice is that the product was not construct right for my bicycle. When I assumable the turning signal light onto my bicycle the parts that came with it was not usable at all where I require to modified the parts I have extra laying around to make it work. Next issue I encounter was that the turning signal device for the handle bar is not stable enough to used because every time I click the left or right turned light the whole part moves out of place and where the battery holds the casing keep coming off when using it for safety. Which can be very annoying when I have to keep locking the top part back into place when utilizing the turning light switch. Now I require to buy another turning signal light from some other company to make sure it usable when needed on road when dark outside. Last thing I wanted to mention was the turning light device for the handle bar I require to put duck tape onto it to keep the top stabilized which it should not be necessary at all. Please redesign the product to make it more friendly user experience thanks ... show more

This works like it says but the way the 2 pieces mount need lots improvement. This the 2nd control (round part) unit that iv had fall off and never found either. not buying a third one.

Disappointed. Directions are useless; waste of time. There’s no way to mount the signal to the handle bars. Battery falls out of the signal every dang time! They sent zip ties, but not sure why; there’s no holes to slide them through AND you have to remove it to charge it. No option for a solid light, they all flash; not my preference. They sent a magnetic piece, but again the directions are helpless. Can’t mount taillight to a basket; designed for a pile. I will tweak this though and be back with an update. Safety matters.
