They’re awesome, great brand all around, the quality is top notch, and if you’re shopping for starter sets this one should at the top of your list. At first the blade putter took some getting use to, its a little heavy but love the grip, only thing you’d need to compensate the set is a 60 degree lob wedge, a 3 wood and 5 iron, but the hybrid honestly makes it so you can delay those purchases till you’re more comfortable with the game. The hybrid is so great for the in between. The branding and quality makes you feel way better than had you just purchased stratas 100% with similar pricing you can’t beat this

For a first time starter golf kit you get everything you need when it comes to the clubs. The driver feels great there is not a ton of flex on the steel versions. But they are not so stiff that you feel the hit in your hands. Every club comes protected with a nice cover to keep them sort of clean but if you use them they will get dirty but those covers are really nicely done. The bag itself has stands that automatically deploy when set down and leaned outward. It can be carried or carted just depends on your mood. The carry straps are very secure for either carry or riding. You do have a tone of compartments for all accessories from balls to any other supply you would need. The zippers feel substantial on all compartments as well. The storage is one of the main highlights on the carry bag as it is executed well as there are no loose strings on any of the stitching. Now back to the clubs the handles are nicely padded for grip as you will have adequate grip so you will not slip off during your swing. Overall it is a great option to step into golf if you are looking for a low cost high value option

My son is still a teenager, but he’s 5’10 and growing. His dad started taking him out on the golf course even before he started school, so he’s not only got the height for his first set of men’s’ clubs, but he’s got the maturity to handle and maintain them too. We thought this would be a good set to start, because he can’t hit a Fairway off the grass with any regularity yet and the hybrid, let’s him keep practicing and learn to launch consistently without getting frustrated and giving up. The round sole really slides over the grass smoothly. I took up golf briefly a few years back and I was frustrated because I bought a starter kit that immediately required me to spend more money, but this one has a sand wedge and he can start developing shorter game skills right out of the box. I think we can go the rest of the summer and fall without having to add to the set, even though this has 9 clubs and not 12. We won’t need the middle irons that aren’t in this set for awhile. Also, it’s frankly easier to make choices. When my son golfs with my husband, he’s constantly asking which club to pay. With 3 less clubs, he will be able to make a decision easier and I think it will help his judgment, both when he’s golfing himself or caddying for his father. The headcovers are plush. The inside is lined like an insulated mitten. This set is really light weight and that’s going to help with his swing. Even I can handle these clubs, although I’m shorter at only 5’8”, but the lightness really matters. But my son is athletic and strong, so the steel was better for him than the graphics would have been. Yet, you can walk the course with these without a problem. The shoulder straps are thick and padded and you can balance the weight between the two straps to make the load easier to carry. The bag is light too. The legs pop out and stand wide apart, so the bag doesn’t tip, even on slopes. They snap in and press tight against the bag, so they don’t get in the way when the bag is moving. The stand bag is organized so that the things you need most are right within reach. The side pocket is big enough to hold a jacket or rain gear. The ball, marker and tee pocket is right in front. Then, there’s a smaller pocket that has a cushy interior, so his wallet can be stored in there and his cell phone can go in without being scratched. There’s also an extra regular pocket for any additional whatnots, like a score card or gloves. There’s a handle to hang a golf towel, glove or umbrella and a waterproof cover protects the clubs when there’s rain. This set has everything needed to golf and to tote all needed golf accessories. This makes a great starting set that he won’t outgrow for some time, even as his skills progress.

I took this Set out to a Par 4 course and I was happy with the outcome. Even though the Set only includes short irons 6-9 plus sand and pitching wedge, I found the hybrid 4 club handled most of my longer fairway shots. As I’ve gotten older, I don’t hit my 3 or 4 iron very accurately or long so the hybrid is a perfect solution. It is more forgiving and allows better contact. I wish there was a 5 iron in this Set, but I can handle most shots with either the hybrid or 6 iron. The Putter is a blade style but is weighted, giving you consistent putts. The guides are accurate, lining up the ball accurately to the hole. The Driver has a steel shaft and provides a normal amount of flex. The head has a 10.5-degree loft with a nice sweet spot, providing an excellent balance of distance and loft. The Irons also are made of steel with a normal amount of flex. They have a cavity-backed designed to help facilitate more accurate shots. The Bag is made of well-constructed, high-quality material which feels like nylon or polyester. It is lightweight, durable and water resistant. There are 7 slots for 9 clubs so some slots must be shared. The Bag has zippered pockets that have a deep design to keep golf balls, tees and valuables from rolling out when the bag is leaning. The bag is easy to carry, having dual padded adjustable shoulder straps. If desired, these can be removed easily. The bag stands securely on its own with 2 retractable legs that pop out when set on the ground at a 45-degree angle or fold in automatically when picked up. This set would be ideal for someone just starting out or a senior who plays occasionally and doesn’t want to sink thousands of dollars into their game. Plus, it has the familiar Vice name, which was made popular with their golf balls. Overall, a good value for the target audience.

Really love this club set. Clubs feel high quality right out of the box and would suit beginners and more experienced golfers alike. I've used Vice golf balls before and haven't been disappointed- especially for the price, I don't mind using Vice clubs either. Worth knowing it's not a full 14 club set, so factor that in before buying. Steel shafts are decent, but graphite isn't much pricier at the time of me writing this review, so beginner golfers or people with joint pain or sensitive arms might benefit more from the added forgiveness from the graphite shafts. Bag looks super sharp and the build quality holds up well after several rounds. Mostly ride in a cart with it, but honestly it's comfortable and lightweight enough that carrying probably wouldn't be a dealbreaker either. Overall very satisfied!

I bought this set for my son, who is on his high school golf team. The irons are forgiving and help with more consistent shots, which is helpful as he continues to improve. The driver is easy to hit, and the wedges work well for short game practice.
