    • well made, good for a variety of devices
The construction seems good, it works, the cord length is good so it should work without an extension cord in most situations. I like that it has a light on it so you know it's receiving power. It's supposed to have all the typical protections that adapters have these days such as over voltage, short circuit protection, over temperature, etc, but I don't have a good way to test any of those so we'll just have to take their word for it. I like that it isn't a "wall wort" style adapter that takes up two outlets or at least needs to be on the bottom so the upper outlet can be used. Although this is marketed for the Sceptre monitors, there is no reason you couldn't use it for any device that uses 12v dc and 5A or less, and has the same power connector. ... show more
