I use manual and electric shavers. Once in a while I wax, but it can be time consuming. I wanted to explore epilators again as it has been a long while since I have used one so I ordered this. MY EXPERIENCE WITH THE PRODUCT 1. I received a portable epilator from VGR. My first impression is that it is pretty light in weight. 2. I like that there is only 1 button to worry about. It slides from off to intensities 1 and 2. 3. I can actually use both intensities without issues. I prefer the faster one because it catches most, if not all, of the hair anyway. 4. I like how easy it is for me to remove the head. 5. This one I wish came with a storage bag, but I have a few around. 6. It also comes with a small cleaning brush. 7. I do not find it to be painful as have been plucking for a very long time that it is relaxing when I do it. However, I do not think that it is terribly bad for those who have not used epilators and have not plucked their hairs before. 8. I moisturize the area after. I use just unscented lotion or calendula oil. OVERALL IMPRESSION: I think that this epilator is cost-effective and worth its value if you want fewer shaving days. It is also very easy to operate and it is not that painful. This does not stop growth.

The last time I used a tool that yanked Hair out was 1986 when A popular ladies hair removal device was all the rage. It was so painful that most women tossed it aside immediately. I did the same thing. This device is nothing like that one. I didn’t notice a of discomfort. I think it’s because it only pulls a few hairs at a time unlike the other device that pulls lots of them. It also moves fairly fast and only covers a tiny area. So you’re going to have to rub this up and down the area. You are shaving quite a bit. It seems like a sturdy device and easy to clean the hair from. It charge quickly and has one button on the front that makes it easy to operate for the price. It seems like a good value.

I bought this epilator mainly for quick touch-ups on my legs and underarms without needing disposable razors all the time. The size is convenient and lightweight so it’s easy to hold and pack for travel. I also liked that it came charged enough to test right away. The two speed settings are helpful. I used the lower setting for underarms and the higher one for legs. It does remove hair fairly well, although I had to go over some areas more than once to catch smaller hairs. The battery life seemed decent for a couple of grooming sessions before recharging. One thing that disappointed me was the “silent” claim. It is definitely not silent. The motor makes a noticeable buzzing noise during use especially on the higher speed setting. It’s not unbearably loud but louder than I expected from the description. Overall, it’s an okay basic epilator for occasional use, but there is room for improvement in noise level and hair-grabbing performance.

I have been wanting to try an epilator so I finally decided it was time. This VGR706 is a really solid hair removal device. It's quiet, the rechargeable battery lasts a long time and it does its job well. Yes, it hurts but you know that's what you're signing up for. It does a good job at removing the hair and it's efficient. The device is sturdy and it's well-made. Using this allows me to go longer between shaves so it's a trade off that I think is worth the effort and energy. If you're looking to get your first epilator, this is a solid choice. It travels well too due to its small size and rechargeable battery.

I’ve used this on my legs, arms, and even back – it works everywhere. The 700mAh battery easily lasts through full leg + both underarms on a single charge. High speed is powerful but not scary, and the grip is comfortable. The protective cap and cleaning brush are handy. USB charging is a lifesaver when traveling. I’ve been using this cordless hair epilator for a little while now, and I really like how convenient and easy it is to use. The device is lightweight, comfortable to hold, and works well for quick hair removal at home. I like that it comes with different interchangeable heads, including an epilator, electric shaver, and foot care head, which makes it very helpful to have.
