I was actually in a pinch when I bought this dress. I ordered a custom fit one and it was a complete disaster and I was 2 weeks away from my wedding. I had to choose something with prime shipping and this was one of my 2 options. It may not be perfect for everyone, but it was perfect for me. I wanted a side split and this one gives you the option to zip it up if you don’t want the split. My only issue was that it was slightly long, but that’s normal for me bc I’m only 5’2”. I just whipped out my sewing machine and hemmed it up a little. No one could tell bc the lace on the outside of the dress. It was so beautiful and SO comfortable. I was able to wear a normal bra and just pulled the straps down with the dress. The dress had a tight band on the top that held my bra straps in place. You can wear underwear, but I had to ditch mine bc I wore the wrong color and it was visible through the dress 🤦🏼♀️ That custom dress being messed up was a huge blessing in disguise. I loved this dress so much. I never would have thought to purchase my dress on Amazon, and for this cheap! 5 stars from me!!!

I bought this dress in 4 different colors to determine which one, if any, I would keep (solid black, black with lace sleeves, shiny navy blue and black all lace). I was blown away and so happy with ALL of them. The one I decided to keep is the shiny navy blue. The sparkle is subtle but a gorgeous detail. The sizing is spot on. The material is thick and soft to the touch without being bulky or itchy giving the dress a very high quality feel. The zipper split is genius and can be adjusted to a person's comfort level. The shoulders stay in place beautifully and the dress keeps "the girls" in place nicely. The dress has some give to it which I personally love. It is form fitting but sizing up would accommodate someone who prefers a looser fit. I would size down if you like a really form fitting look. As for my body I'm 5'0, 130 lbs and a 36" bust, 28 waist. I ordered S and XS (small being what Amazon recommends for me). What arrived was an XSmall, and a Medium (that was sent in error. The small sizes are still to arrive). I tried the medium first (thinking it was a small) and it fit very nicely but not snug. I was very pleased. Then I tried the X small. I was blown away at how it looked on my body. THEN I put on shapewear. WOWZER! I was so thrilled at how the dress looked with a completely smooth silhouette. The length was perfect. It hugged my body in all the right places. I fell in love with this dress. I'm waiting for the Small to arrive to see what the difference would be but I'm certain I'm keeping the Xsmall. Trust me. Don't hesitate to buy this dress!

I have challenges finding clothes that fit well, so I was pleasantly surprised at how well this dress worked for me. I did have to hem it up nearly a foot, but thankfully, that didn't change the look or flow of the dress. For reference, I am 5'3", 110 pounds, and ordered an XS. The dress is also exceedingly comfortable for an evening out. I never had to worry about it falling down, and it has plenty of give while walking, dancing, or even eating.

Love this dress. Fit is fantastic and much more accurate than the velvet one I tried from their other listing (fit was super big). It's a little tight on the shoulders but mine are a bit wide anyhow. Length is good and the zippers on the leg and back seem nice quality. I would recommend this dress, I can't wait to wear it out.

Let me start by saying that while it didn’t fit my post-children hips/stomach flatteringly, the top of this dress was PERFECT and the stretch, weight, and quality were remarkable. The gown was not very sheer or see through! Be advised that the adjustable slit zipper only goes down a bit, so you will have a substantial slit regardless of the zipper. This felt as comfortable and easy and low maintenance as a simple little white casual dress, and seemed very well made. Just not flattering for my more matronly lower half. What I absolutely was appalled by was the packaging. The dress was SHIPPED in that thin zippered pouch. I don’t believe those nice classy clothing bags were designed to have a shipping label smacked on them and be the only thing between a lovely white lace dress and the December elements and shipping trucks! While I didn’t note a negative effect on the actual dress, it really took away from the nice experience (hello, giant shipping label) and made me want to examine it closely for any tiny holes in the bag. What you see in the photo is exactly how this arrived right off the Amazon truck. However, the return process seemed effortless.
