This stabilizer support is a simplistic design and so far seems to be able to handle the hitch load. The most inconvenient aspect of the design is aligning the legs while positioning the unit under the king pin. There are no guide marks to indicate the angle of each leg, so to ensure the legs are positioned correctly to allow the cup to be level, after every leg adjustment you must secure the chain and step back to visually check the alignment of each leg and the cup. This will require several attempts... at least until you become familiar with the unit. The chain is very long and looks so-so with tack welds on each links. However, it should capable of handling the load of leg spread so long as the legs are not too far apart. The chain that came with my unit has links that are slightly too large to fit inside the intended leg holes, thus I have subtracted 1 star in this rating. The chain is long enough to wrap under then over the flat bar with the chain hole and was nearly able to complete 2 full circles around the legs (with its current leg spread).

I bought these for leveling my travel trailer while parked and work great. Cranks up and down easily and good material. I bought an extra pair to put at the end of my back door ramp to make it level while parked making like a deck out the back.

The threads of the hitch cup to go into the nut connector was not smooth. It would not screw in smoothly. About 3/4 of an inch of the threads were messed up. Just off kilter. I will come back if we can get it fixed and let you know how stable and sturdy it is. So far it has not been too good.
