It’s good for kids, but I don’t think it would work for anything other than play. No room for water bucket or tools. It’s not adjustable and very low to the ground. The plastic tub around the wheel is pretty flimsy but easy to remove and clean.

I think this is a good start if you're just beginning pottery making. It's pretty heavy and very short, I sat mine on top of the box it came in so I can sit in a chair and use the foot pedal. It's pretty easy to wipe out the basin and wasn't hard to figure out how to use without reading any instructions.. I don't think mine even came with instructions on how to use it. The one thing that does bother me is the basin moves around while the plate spins or my arm will knock into it and it rubs the plate. I think if I got really serious about making pottery, I would go for a nicer one but since this is just a hobby I started, this one is fine.

This wheel is small but mighty. I use a Brent in a studio and this wheel doesn’t compare to that. But for a home setup, to throw smaller items, I really like it so far. Note: The wheel does oxidize but that burns off in the kiln.

If you’re not sure if you should drop $800 plus for a professional potter’s wheel this might be for you. It’s decent, motor can handle a few pounds of clay, 100%. It’s really meant to be a little kids wheel. It’s very short, look at the pictures. The negatives, it has a super short cord for the pedal, so if you want to raise it there’s no way. There’s also no holes to attach bats, so you’d have to drill those yourself. Finally, the pedal feels cheap and is small. Don’t get me wrong for under $200 this is great.

The media could not be loaded. My initial take on the wheel was very positive. It looked nice. But since the first use, theres been an odd black stuff on it. Ive tried bleach, hydrogen peroxide, and bake soda, but it wont come off. And anytime i try and clean the wheel, it never tries properly, even when i use a paper towel. I cant find anything online about this issue

I love this little wheel. I’m brand new to learning and this has been a fun wheel to practice on. I had an issue with the wheel and they sent out an immediate replacement, very happy with the product, company and customer service.

I purchase this pottery wheel to practice at home because usually the studio is very busy and the hours available don't match my work schedule, I used it two times and It was working perfectly, the pedal was a little hard to use but it was working, however, the third time that I was about to throw clay on it stops working, I checked the switch everything but the panel just didn't work out, and never turn on again. I was very sad because I was falling in love with this small wheel, however, make sure that you keep the box in case you decide to purchase it and yours goes wrong you can return it, I end it paying like 27 USD for packing and boxing in usps.

The unit arrived early and matched my expectations well. It has nice stable speed, but the only drawback is that the foot pedal is plastic and slides on the floor (I'm going to try attaching a rubber base or mount it on a sheet of wood).
