I have had no problems with the tool at all. However, I seem to need much more practice with using it to get the bends to go in the direction that I would like. The markings are easy to read. It is easy to adjust for different diameter pipes. For its size, it has a good weight and does not feel like it will break while bending tubing. You'll see bad reviews of people getting kinks in copper pipe, but this isn't intended for that use. This is for 1/2" OD (outside diameter) tubing not 1/2" inside diameter like the plumbing pipes pictured in some of the bad reviews.

A little bit of a learning curving, but there are tons of YT videos. Any bender of this style bends the same way so it doesn’t have to be a Vevor video, because I didn’t see any.

    • 1/2 copper pipe wont fit

The overall product is excellent. The problem is that the advertisement states that bends 1/2 copper pipe. Nowhere does it indicate that it does not accept plumbing pipe. Before making the purchase I researched if there was a difference in size between both ACR pipe and plumbing. The only difference noted between the two was the mixture of copper not in diameter. The ad must state that it does not accept 1/2 plumbing pipe. I have to assume that the same goes for tools from other brands similar to this product. ... show more

This was my first time use such a tool. I had to bend 1/4 " OD tubing. The problem was that it had very- very thin tubing wall. Well, from the web I learned to fill the tube with soap water and frees it before bending. Frozen soap water provides internal support to the walls during bending, thus preventing wall buckling or collaps at bend area.
