  • Well built
Size: NEW-50''Carbon Steel Handle
Works great for busting down pallets

  • Efficient
Size: 50'' Carbon Steel Handle
I like the fully integrated design of this tool vs the "add your own pipe" variety. It is plasma cut plate and tubing arranged into a clever, effective tool. It breaks down into two pieces with a reinforcing sleeve and reasonably heavy screw stud connector providing a nice straight fit. One critical note is the curvature on top of the "ducks bill" may be a little excessive for broadest utility optimization. I say this because the curve as it is requires the devices vertical face, i.e. the "neck" adjacent to the duckbill, to be fully seated against the boards in order to begin levering. At times this made it a little less ergonomic, nevertheless it made five minutes out of what has been typically twenty minutes work with a reciprocating saw and hammer. The pallet I busted with the tool was not a high quality hardwood pallet, so the boards were shattered here and there. I think it could be used to gingerly remove the boards if so desired, with some technique and some luck so as to recover the lumber for projects. My primary use is for kindling wood from free pallets so I appreciate simplicity and power of the tool for that application. It do demolish pallets with alacrity. These guys are making some good tools at affordable prices. I have friends that will be impressed by it for sure. ... show more

  • More Usable Pallets
Size: 50'' Carbon Steel Handle
The VEVOR Pallet Buster, 50'' Carbon Steel Handle Wrecking Pry Bar accomplished in minutes what would have taken me almost an hour to do, but the best part is how much of the pallet I was able to salvage and repurpose. Usually, I'd end up with more burn material than usable material. I've long had a stack of pallets that I've dreaded trying to break down as they were in better condition than most others I've collected and I didn't want to end up with kindling. This pry bar exceeded my expectations with how easy it made the job. It's lightweight, yet sturdy and looks and feels like it's going to last quite some time. Now, I'm not dreading taking apart our old deck, either. After nearly 30 years, it's long past its prime. I expect this to work as well with it as with my pallets. If anything changes, I'll update my review, but for now, this is a solid 5 for me. ... show more

  • it bent the first time I used it
Size: NEW-50''Carbon Steel Handle
I finally went to use it, and it bent the first time that I used it. The shaft is hollow, that part should be built with solid steel. For the price it’s very disappointing. The plates at the bottom are solid steel, it would be a great tool if the shaft was made of solid steel to match and it would be practically indestructible then. It’s now outside of the return window, I’ll update my review if the company offers a warranty replacement. ... show more

  • Excellent Pallet Buster
Size: 50'' Carbon Steel Handle
I use pallets to stack my firewood on. There are a couple of local stores that put their excess pallets at the curb for anyone to pick up and take free of charge. But with my work schedule by the time I get out of the office and get there the good ones have all been taken. I have to take broken one's and take them apart to rebuild them to get something workable. I found that this pallet buster allows me to take off the top and bottom boards easily and usually without breaking them. I used to be able to put together 2 good pallets out of 5 broken one's. Now I'm averaging in the 3 to 3.5 range which is a significant improvement. Works for me! ... show more

  • Powerhouse - many more uses than just breaking pallets
Size: 50'' Carbon Steel Handle
I got this pallet buster specifically to breakdown wooden pallets, but it has proven to have many more uses around my farmhouse. I have heavy-duty pallets that used to carry aluminum bars, which I get for free from a local business to use as firewood. They are made from hardwood and have heavy threaded nails holding them together, but this tool still tears them apart with ease. I burn the wood, but you could salvage and reuse it because this doesn't destroy the integrity of the boards. I've been able to use this for several other things as well including as a torque bar and prying apart cemented/glued landscaping stones and decor. This is heavy-duty, but it is not too heavy to carry around on the property. I don't see any way that this could break - there are no weak points. The shape and design is pretty ergonomic and easy for anyone at any height or weight to use. ... show more

  • Works pretty good on standard pallets
Size: 50'' Carbon Steel Handle
In fairness, if it was possible to award 1/2 stars, this would be a 4.5 out 5. But since it's not, I have to round down to 4, because 5 stars is essentially a perfect item...near or actually flawless...which this is close to, but just shy. We get multiple skids a day at the warehouse, some better condition than others. The ones that are beat to junk, we scrap. Dismantling them by hand is awful, so I was pretty excited to see this tool. Yes, it works (see my photos, I uploaded them in order, but have no way of knowing if they'll actually post in that uploaded order...). 2 knocks: 1) Some that we get are not "standard pallets". They're Frankensteined monstrosities that aren't always with lengths supports that are standard widths. If the claw on this tool was adjustable in width (and could go a little wider if ever needed) it'd work on pretty much 100% of the skids we come across back there. But, as it is, we can really only use this tool for the "normal" skids, which luckily comprise probably 75-80%, but that leaves the remaining 20-25% where we'll still have to do it by hand. 2) Found that the connection at the handle would sometimes start to turn while using. You have to stop and tighten it back (screw it back tight). A better "locking" way that avoids such a situation would be most welcome. Feels pretty robust, nice weight to it, I don't see this breaking any time soon. Overall, still a very handy tool to have in the warehouse -- 4.5 stars in actuality. ... show more

  • Really heavy duty pallet buster
Size: 50'' Carbon Steel Handle
So, this thing is really really big. Too big to be of much use demo-ing walls, unless you're strong like Hercules. But it would be great for ripping up flooring that's already partially up, or pulling apart pallets Hard to justify buying a tool this expensive just to break up pallets, but if you need something like that often, this probably meets the bill and may be more appropriate than a wrecking bar or crowbar. ... show more
