50 Amp Transfer Switch, Great Product. The package arrive in perfect shape. It was well packed and protected. While checking it out, it is well built and wires are all lettered for easy installation. After reading some reviews about the product I was a little bit weary about ordering it. I got in touch with Amazon customer service and they said it was UL Listed but they didn't have a copy on file. They patched in a representative from Vevor, Both companies reps were very helpful and courteous. They suggested I go to Vevor.com and use live chat. So that's what I did. I got on there chat line and said that the product was in fact UL 1008 approved. I then asked if I could get a copy of the UL approval. They entered a ticket # for the request. They confirmed that they understood what I was asking for and they would take care the request. The next morning I checked my E-mail and I had a 85 page copy of the complete UL 1008 testing with a approval stamp and a FCC Part15 Subpart b ANSIC63.4.2014 certificate. during the whole process every seemed concerned to satisfy my request. This has been one of the best customer service experiences I have received in along time. 'm so glad that I ordered this product from them. Not only did I save some money but I feel that it is as good of quality as it's competitors. I would rcomend others to buy this product

I was unable to use this transfer switch due to my electrical panel capacity. However, for this price this is an exceptional deal for this quality and type of item. If it is compatible to your panel, then I highly recommend this. I am not an electrician, but I was a home builder for 50+ years, and understand how the trades need to charge for specialty products like this. Having it installed while you purchase it will surely save you more than $200 minimum (in mark-up) if this product works for your application.

Great price on this well made transfer box. Installation was fairly simple but not easy as I had to drill through brick and route a power wire through my attic and down an inside wall into the closet where my breaker box is located. Yours may be easier to access. You will need some 10/3 with ground or larger wire to connect to the generator input box. If you cannot use a mechanical lockout, then this is what you need to make a safe and legal generator hookup. If you are not comfortable with the installation you should get a professional to install it for you. Still need to trim out box in photo.

bought this thought it was a great deal hooked it up and tested worked great. Had my first power outage tonight 2 circuits fried after 3 hours had to open up breaker box and disconnect it to get voltage after power came back on. Do not buy this piece of junk

Seems to be well made and working great so far. Definitely a bargain. Installed about a month ago and i use it as a transfer from my solar system to different circuits i want to switch on or off as the sun allows so it isn't just sitting there waiting for power outages

The Transfer switch appears to have good quality build with sturdy metal frame. I did not install it yet, but the wires were all labeled to help with installation,. My concern however is, inside the transfer switch, there are two compartments and the wires going through a hole between them has no protective bushings. Also, it uses welded breakers and I am not sure about the ease of replacing them when they fail. Time will tell.

This is a very high quality transfer switch, giving individual control on what circuits you want on/off. Directions are very good. Don't lose track of what wires go where. Take pictures and take notes.
