Came about a week late and it has cracks in the ceramic insulation after using it once. I made sure to be gentle with it, I think the ceramic is just prone to cracking in the machine’s higher temperature ranges. It does melt aluminum like they said in the description, but it takes a bit longer to get hot enough and the pool cools off very fast when you go to pour (might be best to get something a little more powerful if you want to melt and cast metals with a melting point beyond 1900 degrees Fahrenheit). The crucible it came with held up well, you just have to heat them properly like the instructions say to. I’m sort of bummed, but maybe I just got a dud or the cracks are breaking the insulation barrier. Good luck in your furnace-hunting! ... show more

It had 4 big slits in it where you put the regulator in and alot of propane was just escaping through them instead of being used so It was just wasting too much propane

I don’t like this Furnace ! That is The first time I have this melting furnace for my old golden jewelry ! I got some golden jewelry from my parents long time ago when I got married ! But very old fashioned! So I try to use them melted and make new styles! But it is complicated to set up the furnace and also hard to use ! I tried several times with my husband. Even made him frustrated! Finally we gave up and returned it ! It is not worth the money we paid! Not suggest to anyone ! ... show more

I received over two weeks , I used to owned a expensive fancy one , this is replacement , but let me huge down after opened the box , the condition is poor , the furnace seems not going to work properly , it’s hard to light when the air gate open and only burn slightly if I completely close it , it took over 15 minutes to melted the soda cans , really disappointed. ... show more
