This chair is really nothing more than a few foam cushions in a zip up cover. That said, I do like it. The chair comes vacuum packed into a box. Upon opening it, my first impressions were not good. Due to the vacuum packaging, it was flat and didn't hold up as a chair. There is an instruction booklet that has a troubleshooting section that says if it has been compacted for an extended period of time, that you should give it 48 hours to re-expand. I pulled the cushions out of the cover and let them expand overnight. it really did make a world of difference.

I was a little concerned when it came in very deflated, but after doing as instructed and putting it in a warm place for 24 hours it fluffed up and looked exactly as it was pictured. It is very soft and comfortable. Easy to carry around using the carry strap at the top. My grandkids will love sitting in it while I read to them.

i dont think i can recommend this for any child to use. it comes vac sealed so you need to give it a bit of time to fluff back up. there are multiple problems with this, first the finish of the cover which is cut uneven with noticeable patches where the pile looks uncut and has knots. there is also a really strong chemical smell from the memory foam used. its really strong and needs time to offgass and dissapate. and lastly and most importntly. its not a 1 piece foam internal cushion. its 4 pieces. 2 arm sides, a back and the seat cushion. these are all unevenly cut especially the seat cushion portion. they also shift around alot in the cover which does not hold them together tightly, theres absolutely no stability to this thing. i recieved this item for free under the vine program and if i paid for this it would be returned. i chose to keep it because i happen to need a new cat bed and 2 of my cats climbed onto it after i got it "together" adequate for 10 lb cats, absolutely not for any child, its a hazard.

The VEVOR Kids Armchair, Kids Sofa with High-Density 25D Sponge came already put together and was vacuum packed so the instructions didn’t apply. I unfolded it and fluffed it up and left it sit out for a couple days hoping it would take shape. The next day I came down and sure enough- it looked like a chair! The Sherpa is fuzzy and cute and you can fluff it up with your fingers easily so it has the new- never sat on look:) The 3 yr old fits perfectly on it. He weighs about 36 lbs and it supports him fine. This is a cute idea and the kids love having their very own chair like the dad or grandpa! I only have one concern and depending on how much your child weighs- it could be a bigger issue for some. In the pictures… the white memory foam are just set inside the cover. There’s no reinforcement or way to secure the blocks of foam together so naturally I could see an issue with kids playing and roughhousing and the foam splitting apart and not holding the child up. The foam blocks have a lot of play or slack inside the cover that’s supposed to be tight & stable. Stability & safety are paramount in children’s furniture and toys therefore I’m rating it as a 3.

This kids sofa/chair came fully assembled and vacuum packed. It did take a full 24 hours to expand to full capacity. Before you place judgement, please wait the recommended time. It is the perfect sitting chair for your wee ones (toddlers, small to mid-size dogs, and cats). Our menagerie of small dependents loves to relax in this chair. You do not want to leave toddlers alone with this chair because it tips back if they aren't sitting in it properly. I do recommend a cover or blanket because though comfortable, it's just not that pretty to look at, hence the 4 stars.
