We just recently installed this Bimini after a full boat renovation on a 16ft, 1984 Bass Tracker and I'm impressed with the quality of the materials and how sturdy it is after installation especially at such low price. The instructions for how to install it were pretty unclear and I must admit it took us a good 10 minutes just figuring out how the metal rods connected into each other, but once we figured that puzzle out and got the canvas attached to the rods mounting it to the boat was easy. The canvas is made of a thick material and the entire bimini is sturdy enough that we've ran down the river (with the Bimini open) at 35 mph and it held up perfectly with zero shaking, flexing, bending, or rattling. It gives the perfect amount of shade and doesn't get in the way of fishing from the back deck. It also fit our boat perfectly! I bought the specifically for my jon boat for Ensure fishing The quality is good and it's easy if you take your time and understand the assembly and installation process. My only problem is hurricane Milton and Helene destroyed Tampa Bay and left me with some pretty toxic water.

The assembly of this canopy is not easy. Please note there are two pole lengths - one pair 54 inch and one pair 55 inch. We overlooked the instruction noting the same The instruction manual includes both the 3 bow and 4 bow options. We were referring to the 3 bow in error. We got the pole lengths backwards. When we secured the poles--the bolts locked up and would not come out --even with a power screwdriver. We ended up actually drilling out the bolts. It was difficult. We have since completed our assembly and it is a nice unit. Just be alert to the instructions.... ... show more

The box showed up in very bad shape, but everything was inside and in good condition. The directions were poor and I had to study the pictures of it already built. I screwed the center pivots to two by sixes which helped a lot. After I installed it on my boat, I went back and used thread lock on the screws and nuts. If you spent twice the money, you wouldn’t have a better Bimini top. Important note: the bows that the canvas sets on have a spring button that snap into the upright poles. The media could not be loaded. Ordered to install on my son’s boat. No hardware was in the box. I hoped Vevor would respond and send the hardware. They asked me to send photo/video proof.
