Works well so far and good build quality. Used for heat treating some steel. There is no programmable temperature ramp but for my purposes that's ok, I just set timers and manually adjust it. Note when shutting down, you may want to manually set the temp to zero to ramp down, to let the fans run as it cools, and keep the electronics cool.

Product did not work out of the box. It arrived in rough shape. I had to tighten the hardware holding it all together. There was a screw that was completely missing. No power to the unit at all, no heat no display. I have reached out to the seller but have not had any response yet. Really disappointed there is no quality control. This problem could have been avoided by simply plugging it in before it was shipped. I will be returning this item and hopefully the seller does the right thing and gets me a new unit and I can update this review. As of now, I would avoid this product unless you have $260 laying around to let someone hold on to for a few weeks. Talk about a gamble 👎

Although I have not had a chance to use my new kiln, it is exactly what I had been wanting for years. It arrived in a timely manner and was packaged well with no damage from the shipment. My one issue is about the price I paid. Don't get me wrong, compared to the going rate for small test kilns, this was a bargain, however, I ended up paying $599.99 through Amazon. When I went to check for more information about the kiln on the VEVOR website, I saw where they were selling this exact same kiln for $380.99.

Quality is great. It’s a bit larger than I expected it to be. Still a nice small kiln for PMC and glass fusing pendants.

The description says, "Glazing on Pottery". Don't believe it! As a ceramic rookie I believed the description. The problem is to fire ceramics you need to have a heating ramp rate that's controllable. This furnace doesn't have that feature. Because I can't control the heating ramp the ceramic firings I've attempted are all subpar. If you're smelting things this is an OK unit. If you're working with ceramics look for a unit that can control the heating ramp rate. at a minimum.
