  • So far so great!
Color: Beige Screen House Tent Size: 15x13.8x8.04 FT, Fits 12–15 Persons
So far this has been great! I set it up alone. It was a little unwieldy, but possible. I do recommend two people for a much easier time.

  • Setup and Takedown Take Too Long
Color: Beige Screen House Tent with Extended Aw... Size: 12x11x7.55 FT, Fits 10–12 Persons
We camp often and currently use an instant-up canopy. It’s a bit bulky and still takes some effort to put up, so we wanted to try this VEVOR pop up screen house to give us more room, add an extended awning to cover the path from our tent to the canopy, and hopefully make setup and takedown easier. It accomplished two of those three goals. The space inside is excellent. The 12 x 11 footprint feels roomy and easily fits multiple chairs and a table without feeling cramped. The extended awning is a really nice feature and does provide extra covered space, which was helpful when moving between the tent and the screen house. The 360 degree mesh keeps bugs out well, and airflow is great. The materials are excellent quality; the tent material feels durable, the zippers work seamlessly, and once fully assembled, it feels stable and secure. The curved roof design is also a smart design to help with water runoff. There is a good amount of attention to detail, and I particularly appreciate the reinforced end on the pole carrying bag. Where it fell short for us was setup and takedown. It was much more time consuming than we anticipated. Getting all the poles in place on top takes some effort, and taking them down isn’t especially quick either. We’re used to pitching tents with poles, so this wasn't new for us, but it’s definitely not a true “seconds” pop up. It wasn't too difficult to fold it back into circular shape when following the instructions; however, the nature of how it needs to be folded means that it will be up against the floor and you and it will get quite dirty in the process. It’s also not realistic to do this as a one person job. As much as we like the concept and the extra space it provides, as well as the quality and value it provides, the added setup and take-down time means we’ll likely skip bringing this canopy on our next trip. It works well once up, but it’s not as fast or simple as we had hoped for frequent camping use. ... show more

  • A reason to Retire Your Old Screen Tent
Color: Beige Screen House Tent Size: 12x11x7.55 FT, Fits 10–12 Persons
Honestly, I was surprised by how much I loved the VEVOR Pop-up Screen House Tent because I’ve been burned by flimsy screen shelters that promised an easy setup but delivered only frustration and ripped material. This thing is the real deal, completely solving the pain point of bugs at the campsite while being genuinely easy to deploy. Total Transformation of Camp Space: The advertised size is 12 x 11 ft, and it feels every bit of that. It completely transforms your campsite into a comfortable, bug-free living room. We easily fit a half dozen camping chairs in a circle with room to spare for a table, which is the perfect setup for evening card games or just relaxing after a hike. Based on the measurements, you get a clean 132 square feet of usable space, which is significantly more comfortable than I had imagined. The Material and Construction: The quality is what sets this apart from flimsy competitors. It's a perfect happy medium: heavier and more durable than a standard tent sidewall, but lighter than the canopy on a 10x10 pop-up. Most importantly, all the joints and pockets where the fiberglass poles slide in are reinforced, giving me serious confidence in its long-term durability. For those who are constantly testing the limits of their gear, the included stakes are impressively beefy and not the useless bent-wire pieces most companies include. Set Up and Head Clearance: Setting this up is a ridiculously simple five-minute job, maximum. Once you get past the initial user error of figuring out which velcro tabs were stuck together from the factory (it's not a design issue, just a packaging quirk), you just undo the strap, let it pop out flat, and start pulling the walls apart to stand it up. I’m over 6’ tall and can walk around comfortably. The center height of 7.5 feet is accurate, and it makes a huge difference compared to shelters that force you to constantly perform "the duck move." The structure is incredibly solid, and I’m confident the roof poles and guy lines will stand up to a solid wind. Minor Notes on Design: The only minor improvement I wish VEVOR would make is a cleaner method for cinching the roof poles together at the apex. It currently uses a couple of long bits of material for tying, and a quick-connect clip or a beefy velcro strap would simplify this minor step. Also, while it packs up nicely back into the circular bag, the storage of the separate poles and stakes inside the bag is a little awkward. It’s a functional oversight, but it’s the one spot where the design feels a touch less refined than the rest of the unit. A Quick Note to Campers: One thing I didn't consider that I wish I had thought through is where this will be used. The state parks by us have pretty standard square or rectangular sizes you are supposed to keep your tents within, and if you plan to take this to heavily regulated campsites, the rectangular versions of screen houses may be a bit better for fitting into the allowable canpsite footprint. If this is a backyard use thing for you, then no worries at all. Overall, this screen house is a fantastic addition to my camping kit, and it falls into that personal category of gear where I genuinely cannot wait to put it through a season of testing. This is the new essential for anyone who values their comfort and sanity in the buggy summer months. ... show more
