The first thing I noticed when I turned on this purifier was how quiet it was. I bought it because I had a friend visiting who has terrible allergies. It arrived in good shape and was extremely easy to assemble. It is light, easy to maneuver, and has a small footprint. Very versatile in terms of where you could put it. Just follow the provided directions to be sure you have the filters in the proper sequence. We ran the unit nonstop for 2 weeks. When I opened the unit to clean the pre-filter it had a noticeable amount of dust on it. So it was doing its job and seemed to help my friend's allergies. After running the air purifier for a solid week, I would definitely say it makes a difference. The air feels "cleaner" and I am noticing less sinus issues. It feels "easier" to breathe. Most impressive feature: it makes NO noise. I have checked multiple times to make sure it's actually on because there is no noise. There are 3 levels of operation and the manual states there will be a "white noise" on level 2 and 3, but that is not the case. So far at least. Least impressive feature: the setup instructions. There manual shows the items that are included in the box, but it does not give you instructions to set up the machine. There are stickers and QR codes on the machine for "instructions", but the website shown redirects you to the seller's Amazon page with no help. I had to look up the setup on youtube. ... show more

This is an excellent machine. I noticed an almost immediate difference in the air quality after I began using it. There are three filters---the first one is washable and never needs to be replaced; the second one is a charcoal filter, and the third one is a hepa filter. The latter two filters need to be replaced occasionally---every two or three months---but they are relatively inexpensive to replace (two hepa filters and four charcoal filters for thirty-two dollars.). I'd owned this machine for two months, and eventually I had a small problem with it. I emailed VEVA custiomer service around 10 on a Sunday morning to describe the problem and received a reply by 10:30. The customer service rep requested that I send in my Amazon order number, my address, and a photo of the problem. The next morning, I sent VEVA the information they requested, and a half hour later, they told me that I would be receiving a new VEVA 9000 and that I would not have to return the old machine. I think this is the best customer service I have ever received in my rather long life. Really! Nowadays, most machines work OK, but when they develop a problem, it can be very discouraging to be put on hold, transferred from one department to another, and face questions that are an obvious attempt to evade responsibility. My interaction with VEVA went way beyond what I would consider good customer service, so if you are considering buying this air purifier, it might help you to know that this company stands behind its produce and is willing to help you if you have a problem. ... show more

I have used air purifiers for many years living in Los Angeles (City of) where dirty air is an issue. I have many allergies and can suffer from the occasional bout of asthma/bronchial asthma, so an air purifier is a necessity. I bought this after reading many reviews, because the one I have is many years old and I though with newer technology an upgrade was needed. I love this product! It is whisper quiet, nice to look at and you forget it is there. I turned it on and within 2 hours could feel the difference in air quality. Very user friendly to set up and use. I did purchase replacement filters with the unit, since reviews said they can be difficult to find sometimes. And great price for this product. I've paid a lot more for others. I've only used the 2nd level clean once to clear the odor of paint, worked like a charm. I highly recommend. I use in a space of about 425 - 550 sq feet. ... show more

I live in the basement of my house with carpeted floors (and walls) that have been in place since the 70s and made it through several floods so there is always a slight musty smell. This thing really cleared up the smell in a couple hours and made a noticeable improvement in air quality over the next days. I didn't realize how bad my living situation was effecting my sinuses till I plugged this thing in. This unit works really well. I can feel a noticeable difference immediately. Something about the air feels crisp now. The only issue I have is the filter needs to be replaced. Although one can be washed, it’s a series of a few filters and the one that prevents mold needed to be replaced. I thought it all could be washed. The filters are not easy to find either and costly. I needed to replace mine after 2 months, but it may be because I had water issue. In the end, I think it is worth it. ... show more
