I have used a silk-filled comforter for many years. This is a nice upgrade from my other one because of the fluffy loft and silky cover. I currently have it between two other lightweight blankets because I don't have a cover for it yet, and covering it kind of makes the silkiness moot, but it's still a very nice comforter good for a variety of room temps. I will never have a polyester-filled comforter and keep all my bedding (even the mattress!) as natural fibers. This is a great option as a comforter, though I feel it's quite pricey...could be worth it if you have trouble sleeping with non-breathable fabrics.

This comforter is a game-changer for people with allergies. We switched from a down comforter to this one because we kept walking ip at night with stuffy noses and dry throats. Our first night with this comforter was amazing. We didn't wake up once for water and slept really well. The comforter wraps around you and feels so coY, unlike other blankets. Even though it looks thin, it's actually quite heavy because it's made of dense material. But, don't worry, it keeps us comfortably warm in a 65-degree room without overheating. I take my bedding seriously, and I highly recommend investing in this comforter.

This is a very lush and extravagant duvet. It's the perfect weight for all seasons. It didn't cause any overheating while I slept using it. It's fabric is very soothing. I just wanted to stay wrapped up in it. The care instructions are very specific about how to clean this duvet and unfortunately you can't machine wash or dry clean it. Kind of stops me from wanting to use it every day. Therefore it's not a good value. If you invest in a high quality duvet like this one, daily use should be available. It looks beautiful.
