I have been using magnifying lighted mirrors for a very long time because I wear makeup every day. I have to say that I absolutely love this make-up mirror for many reasons. Bottom line, it is very important to me that I get my eyebrows and eye makeup as perfect as possible and this mirror allows me to do that. I love the quality, size and clear magnification of the home mirror. The different levels of brightness are great as it helps me zero in on small details. The lights really illuminate those stray brow hairs to nab with my tweezers. Also, since the mirror has proper and varied lighting depending on the setting, I can see the colors of my makeup more accurately as the magnification is very clear! I love the fact that it comes with a cord & batteries. I live in a rural area so we have power outages all the time however that is not a problem anymore since I can use batteries to power the mirror. Needed a replacement mirror and this looked similar to what I had before. I love that it has the capability for power as well as batteries, as my last one only had power. Has three separate lighting choices and all are very nice. It is sturdy and easy to use. The magnification level is perfect and other reviews that were critical of that were obviously not familiar with magnification -- you have to be close to it. This mirror is no different and doesn't require anything different from other magnification mirrors. I hope it holds up over time, as I've only used it once but I'm loving it. I'll update if there is an issue but I'm not expecting any. It seems GREAT! ... show more

I have been needing to replace my electric vanity mirror for some time (incandescent light too dim, 5x not enough magnification anymore), and for years have been using potable battery powered 10x magnification mirrors, but the constant replacement of batteries becomes expensive. Most full size vanity mirrors in this price range are rechargeable now, I prefer the stability of a consistent plug-in power supply, hence my final decision in choosing the VESAUR Professional 8.5” Lighted Mirror. This mirror can be plugged into the wall via a provided usb cord (the actual usb plug is not included, just used an appropriate one I already had), or can be powered by 4 AA batteries. The three color settings can easily be changed and dimmed by a button on the base. The brightest setting is bright enough to see well, but not blindingly bright (like another mirror I had when new batteries were installed). Both the 1x and 10x side are lighted. I’ve included photos of the three light colors on the 10x side. It is a little difficult to see the difference between the white and natural in the photos, but in real life it’s very distinguishable. I primarily use the 10x side, unlike cheaper 10x mirrors, most of the viewing area is clear and distortion free (you do need to be within inches, of course). The design of the mirror is tasteful and transitional, it is not heavy, but is weighty enough to feel stable on my vanity. I spent a great deal of time looking through features and reading reviews of 10x mirrors in this price range and am very pleased with my selection of the VESAUR Mirror - recommend! ... show more

I have used makeup mirrors for 50 years... My most recent prior to this was a Zadro, which was great and I loved it.. But, it was all plastic and did not turn around as easy as this one and it would not stay. when you adjusted it, it would fall back down. Last time I tried to move it the plastic broke. I could still use it, but had to tape it together. Yours was half the price!! It is even better than the old one. yours has 3 lite settings and it has an automatic 1 hour turn off.... Which is wonderful, because I always walk away and leave it on.... It's wonderful, I would buy it again, and I would certainly recommend it! ... show more
