I was having an issue with a Display Port KVM switch I recently got. I have a Samsung wide format monitor I was trying to switch between 3 systems, and it was flickering at higher refresh rates. Well the first thing I try the cable direct to the monitor, and that showed flickering on one of my original cables so I replaced it with one of these. while that didn't fix the problem with the switch it has worked well directly connected. I then needed a longer cable so I used one of the 10 foot ones and it has also worked very well. The one thing worth mentioning is that these don't have the DP connector locks.
