It's thick and soft material; holds up well after the first wash in a washing machine. It's a big long for me as I'm only 4'11" petit built. The package arrived with a thank-you note on an elegant card. She also encouraged me to reach out to her for any dissatisfaction arises. These tights are so soft on the inside. I'm about 5'6 and 168 (size 10-12) and they're very roomy. I wore these under jeans with holes in 50° and they kept me very warm.
