I really like the look of this bag, BUT it’s a VERY minimalist bag. It’s basically just two pockets. I wish it had a key clip in it to attach my keys to. I also wish it had pockets inside. I use this as a purse/ diaper bag. It comfortably fits diapers, wipes, wallet, phone, and some other small things. It keeps my hands free for kid wrangling and it has been great the last few weeks.

It seems like Vera Bradley is heading in a new design direction because it would be almost impossible to distinguish this bag from another unbranded item unless you were to look for the tag inside. I guess that may be a positive for some who don't want to show off branding, but I'm pretty indifferent about it. Overall, this is a nice quality bag. The rip-stop nylon feels robust and the strap, while a little thin, seems to be sturdy too. The capacity, while small, seems to be just right for a compact sling bag of this size. The color is super eye-catching as well, which could be very helpful when traveling. While I love the bag and do think it will hold up well over time, I think most of what you're paying for here is the VB brand, which you ironically can't even distinguish due to the lack of branding or the signature patterned fabric. The bag is around the same quality of a $20 to $30 non-branded equivalent, so I'd say unless you're really in love with the Vera Bradley brand, the style, or the color, to save some money and pick up a cheaper bag elsewhere. ... show more
