My first VB purchase, and I have to say this stylish, comfortable, and durable VB backpack and duffel were the perfect plane carry-on and personal item! Glad I got this one instead of slightly larger backpack- it is the prefect size with one main compartment large enough for a medium purse, sweatshirt, snacks, makeup. And plenty of other compartments for everything else! Stowed under plane seat no problem. You won't be disappointed!

Functional and Cute!

This is a roomy backpack. I appreciate the laptop sleeve, and the large side pockets. I always look for functionality and style and this fits the bill for me. I love the quilting and color. I used it as a carry on and it fit a neck pillow, headphones, book, and snacks, with room to spare. I own other Vera Bradley bags that I use for travel and I love that they're washable.

Great bag

I bought this backpack in pink and it is a pretty shade of bright pink with a sateen finish. It has many functional pockets for pens, laptop and anything else you need without being excessive. The zippers are plastic but I have had no issues. The material is soft and has been durable so far. I think it was worth what I paid for it and would purchase again.

Cute and useful for day-to-day

I am (almost) surprised how much I love this backpack. My last one was a different fabric, and years later still looked brand new. I know because this one is just cotton it won’t hold up quite the same, but I have already had life happen, so in a few weeks, I have had it go through branches, get multiple spills/dirt on it—and it didn’t rip nor is anything else noticeable. I also found a few hidden pockets. I will note that lately I have been keeping more in it than I should, so I am worried about longterm stability on the threads that hold the shoulders, which wasn’t an issue for the other fabric, but for a general day-to-day that is cute and functional without a huge price tag, this backpack is definitely one of my favorites. Oh, and the two pockets for water bottles have some extra elastic so they hold better
