I can’t say enough about how great this twill Vera Bradley “small” bag is. I’ve always had the colorful medium to large size totes & was looking for something smaller & simpler this time. When I found this & did the measurements I was sold! The description you read is perfect to what you receive & I hope my pictures show or explain more. The material is a wonderful polyester inside & out. It wipes nicely if needed. The interior print is beautiful. It exceeded my expectations. The size for me was perfect & I had concerns but it fits everything so well. My calendar book even fits in nicely. I love how there are a total of 6 internal pockets-6! The outside shows the zipper but on top of that is also an open wider space to slide things. On the other side of the bag is a little hideaway open spot which is perfect for car keys. The straps are perfect for me to carry over my shoulder. I also love the zipper feature. The stitching was of VB true quality. There isn’t a flaw to the bag. I’ve had it over 4 months now & it again is VB durable. This bag shows longevity as all of my other VB bags have. The color gray is really exactly as shown. I couldn’t be happier with this bag. The media could not be loaded. This is my first Vera Bradley and I went with the solid navy (I’m not a fan of quilted floral). I’m giddy with how perfect it is. I needed a new bag for field service and it’s the perfect size and so so functional. My magazines and tracts are kept in a leather folder and it fits perfect along with all my other essentials. My iPad mini (in a case) fits nicely in the front outside pocket making it very accessible. My house-to-house record holder fits perfectly in the inside slip pockets. Also my oversized wallet, makeup, keys, hairbrush, and gum all have homes in the other pockets. My iPhone 14 pro max with case fits perfect in the hidden top pocket. Everything has a place. It’s like this bag was made for me. The fabric is wonderful and feels lush yet durable. I love the color so much that I went ahead and purchased a purse in the same navy twill. I mostly got this bag because I needed a new day to day purse and it matched the Performance Twill zip wallet, which I already had. What I didn’t expect was how nice it would be to have so many pockets inside, especially the hidden pocket at the top. That’s where I stow my car keys for easy access. After a few months of near daily use, I love this bag. The water repellent feature came in handy when I spilled a little coffee on the exterior. The stain was very minimal and came out easily in a quick hand-wash the next day. The bag did take a bit of time to dry in the sun, because I did it too late in the afternoon, but that’s my fault for not waiting until the next morning to wash it. I was concerned the bottom would get dirty quickly and it would show on such a light color, but that turned out not to be a problem at all. This Vera Bradley in the performance twill is fantastic. Finally a bag that is pretty, lightweight, and has all the pockets (inside and out) that I need. Having gone from very heavy leather (expensive) bags I can tell you this one is a winner. It holds a lot and is very organized. It is comfortable on the shoulder and can be washed if stained. I own this one in Navy and Red and have gotten compliments. It is the Vera small tote but I have to say there is a difference with the performance twill and the other fabrics. The performance twill bags are a bit larger and have a larger outside zipper pocket. I learned that the hard way when I ordered the large Vera tote. The large size is enormous. ... show more

    • Vera Bradley’s line of purses and totes are wonderful.
The quilting on the inside and out makes everything you put inside feel way more secure whether it’s sunglasses, iPad or phone. And the pockets sewn on the inside makes thing easy to access. The quality of craftsmanship is superb. The only negative for me is the selection of fabrics. I prefer less busy, muted or even solids in neutral tones. ... show more
