This is a beautiful sleek bag that has a slight puffy texture which makes it a light as a cloud. I love how it holds a lot whether books or clothes. The print inside is a perfect accent to the solid outside color and the straps are extremely soft and comfy with a small patch in center of different material so as not to slip off shoulder. The details of Vera Bradley are amazing. I think you'll find it the perfect bag for essentials. Only thing is it does not zip so keep that in mind if using on plane under seat. It does have a zip portion inside, pockets as you can see perfect for contact lens box, and an outside zip pocket. Straps go over shoulder, but not too long if you hold it down by side either. Really super light. Love it.

This is a great, high-quality bag from Vera Bradley. I think it's interesting that she includes the pattern on the inside of the bag, whereas most of her bags show the pattern on the outside; but, I love how understated this tote is. The nylon makes it easy to keep clean, and the black color helps with that even more. The quilted stitching approach gives it a bit of chic character, and the pattern on the inside is beautiful (as usual). Size-wise this tote will hold quite a bit, so it's good that the material is lightweight to avoid adding any extra weight for you to "tote" around. I mostly use this bag to supplement my briefcase going in and out of work. I pack things like my lunch, my heels (our parking lot is huge, so I walk in flats into the office), and any other items for work that day in this bag, and it's just the right size to fit them without being overloaded. You could also easily fit a laptop and a few other items in here. Very practical, yet beautiful tote from VB! Recommend.

I love the size of this tote bag. It's so large, and yet so light! I ordered it in the orange color (Potter's Clay), which is a pumpkin orange kind of tone, perfect for fall. The entire bag is puffy, including the handles. It has elastic cords on the sides, so you can cinch the bag in to create a cute silhouette. There is also a large zip pocket on the outside for your phone or other items you want easy access to. The inside of the bag has a cute print and is very roomy. I was thinking the zip pocket inside could be possibly used for a laptop, but it's too small for that. It's more intended for smaller items that need to stay secure, so I'm keeping my wallet in there. There isn't really a laptop compartment in this bag, which is fine because I don't normally need to carry mine with me. Regardless, this is a wonderful bag for travel or everyday use. I'm totally sold on how cute and light it is! It's virtually weightless feeling, which is really nice, because if I'm carrying enough stuff that I need a tote bag, I don't want the bag itself to be heavy to begin with! Super cute, sleek and modern looking, and I will use it a lot this fall. Love the new Vera Bradley solid color designs!

I have several Vera Bradley pieces. This one is nice but I just don't think it's worth $100. I like the inside lining is the cotton floral print. At one point, Vera Brandley seemed to be putting cheap nylon lining in bags purchased from the store and not the outlet. This has a quilted nylon exterior. It does have some ribbon/fabric strips on that top of the straps to help it from sliding down your shoulder. But other than that, I don't see a ton of upgrades that make this a $100 bag. I like the internal and external pockets. But I don't really see the benefit of the side cinch pulls. It doesn't clasp or zipper at all. It's a good tote bag. I'm just not sure it's worth the price point.

Honestly I've never been a fan of that rain jacket type of purse look. Just thought they looked cheap. I'm in love with this tote, and it was hard to hand it over to my teenager as her school tote bag. She deserves it though! Not only is it extremely cute for an oversized tote bag, but it's nicely put together. The quality is obvious. There is nothing cheap looking or feeling about this bag. It has a smooth and soft feel. It's lightweight, so won't add to the ton of stuff it can hold. It's got multiple inside pockets. The inside lining is tightly stitched in and, what a beautiful liner that just adds a bit of flare to the solid outside color. Love the elastic pull strings on the side, just to keep everything together and add a bit of shape to it. The straps are long enough to hold over your shoulder... there is just nothing I can complain about with this purse. Is it worth the price tag?? Quite honestly, I think so. I'm thinking the quality of this purse and the way everything is put together, along with the material, will allow this bag to last quite a while! Very pleased!

I'm not going to lie, I should have picked another color as the golden olive is kind of vomity, but I honestly don't hate it. Like all Vera Bradley bags, this is well made. It is definitely the most well made tote in my collection of bags. I love how much stuff I can fit in it and will be using it as a weekender bag. I appreciate the zippered pockets on the inside and outside. I love that the handles have a stiffness on the very top that helps distribute the weight across the whole shoulder. I think this tote will be extra cute for fall and winter.
