I purchased this to use as a diaper bag with the expectation of using it for myself once the baby got bigger. It’s a large bag which has been perfect for me. I like to have every little thing a baby would need and this bag accommodated that wonderfully! Overall this bag seems very well-made, but my husband did have to fix a loose stitch on the side pockets when the bag was only a few weeks old. Since then we’ve had no issues. There is a downside to the fabric for us. It’s very similar to most of our winter jackets so wearing a jacket and carrying this bag results in a lot of slipping but that’s not a downfall of the bag, just to make shoppers aware. It’s a comfortable bag even when loaded down, and any messes wipe right off the fabric. I bought this bookbag after seeing a woman using it as a diaper bag at an outside event. We talked about her bag for about ten minutes and I knew I needed it. I was right, it’s been great. The laptop sleeve holds a changing pad, the side pockets are great for water bottles or baby bottles too I suppose. I like the small pockets for holding keys, snacks and a small first aid kit. Way better quality than my old Skip Hop diaper bag. I used cube storage bags inside this bag to hold a change of clothes and diaper cream to keep things tidier. ... show more

Got this Featherweight Backpack for my daughter to use in high school, and she really likes it. It’s super lightweight, so even when she loads it up with her Chromebook, notebooks, and a water bottle, it’s not as heavy as her old bag and everything fits in it! I have two older cotton-quilted VB backpacks that I loved for travel and school. Both 5 years old, they lack the 5th pocket toward the front, as well as the stretch cords on the sides. Previously, I had to put papers in with my laptop in the back pocket - but with this new design, papers have their own pocket, which is really nice. I bought the golden olive color, which is a nice toned down yellow. Love how soft and squishy this backpack is and how much storage it has. Also like that it has the wide strap on the back to fit over a luggage handle. (One time, while waiting in an airport line, I heard a gal tell her partner; "See? I need a BP like that one that sits on top of my carry-on.") It is very handy! ONLY thing I wish this new style had that my olds ones did - was a larger, mesh pocket set for smaller items. They're still there, but the pockets are smaller, and you can't see what's inside because they use the same inner fabric for them, instead of the netting. It's a small thing though that I can live with. The rest of the bag is PERFECT. LOVE IT! ... show more
