I'm a Vera Bradley fan & have used her bags for decades. I fell in love with this pattern so i needed a bag with it. Like other Vera Bradley cloth bags, it should last for years of use. It is smaller bag, but this encourages reviewing what you carry in it. I use it daily & it holds a large car key fob, ear buds in a larger case, lip gloss, lipstick, a tube of hand cream, a wallet, several pens, miscellaneous papers, & a cell phone.     • Cute bag, strap may be off putting for some
Pros: 1) Super soft VB cotton 2) holds its structure 3) decent size for the basics (6 inch phone, keys, tissue, alcohol sanitizer gel, sunglasses) 4) the bee print is VERY cute in person. Cons: I never thought I would take off a star… but…The slip knot structure of the skinny crossbody strap slides if you have heavier items in the bag. I felt awful when I saw it happening, but it didn’t bother her, and she really wanted this particular bag. Personally, I would have liked to see a slightly thicker strap for better weight distribution and a buckle instead of a slip knot for adjusting the length like the ones in the older wallet crossbody models. The roxbury model was another option in the battle of the smallish bee bags, but she wanted a crossbody. So if you get this bag and dont want to constantly adjust the straps, carry light. ... show more

Okay, so from the product description photo, it looks like it is a white purse, and matches the white background of the Amazon app. However, this is actually a light blue purse!?!?!? Do not be deceived!! I was so disappointed when it arrived, but I’m going to keep it since it’s the only cotton version with a print that speaks to me. I wish it was a white purse, but light blue is okay too. Thank you, Vera Bradley, for making 100% cotton purses!!! Otherwise, it’s a perfect size for your phone and a wallet with small necessities. It can be extended to be worn cross body. The knots appear good enough to keep the purse adjusted to the right length. I’ll probably wear it with the longest purse strap setting just so it doesn’t get kinks. Very lightweight, good zipper quality. And the zipper pull appears to be 100% cotton, as well, which is so important. Take a hard look at the others’ photos since they show the true blue color of this pattern. You can see the wings of some of the butterflies are true white, which makes it even more annoying (ha ha!), but it is what it is. ... show more
