It looks so much better in person - the colors are a lot brighter than pictured. I was pleasantly surprised how pretty it really is. And it has so much room for everything. There are 4 pockets on the inside - one is zippered. There are 2 more pockets on the outside and one hidden zippered pocket. I think it is the perfect size. Not too big or small. I used this on a trip to Europe. I loved the fact it is so lightweight I could fold it flat and put in my luggage when I didn't need it. It was great to take along with me during the day as I needed to take layers off because of the heat and needed a place to store them. It held my water bottle, phone, passport and any little extras I needed during the day without becoming heavy. After I got home, I threw it in the washing machine and it came out looking perfectly clean and brand new. This is a great bag to throw in your luggage when you are traveling. Love Vera Bradley. Holds a lot of stuff and has lots of pockets so I can find items easily. Great quality and it’s nice that it’s washable should something spill or the outside gets dirty. Highly recommend!

    • VB Glenna Satchel: Mostly satisfactory, but just not right for me
This bag is very roomy and functional and seems well-made, but I ended up returning it. I wasn't keen on the cinch strands protruding prominently at the sides, and the shoulder straps were just a tad too short for my liking. Also, it reminded me too much of a baby/diaper bag. I opted instead for the VB Multi-compartment shoulder bag, which is roomy enough, and its shoulder straps are a bit longer. It also comes in a wide selection of fabric prints/solid colors. Only drawbacks are that it doesn't have the Glenna's hidden outside zip pocket, and that one of the outside slip pockets is just a teeny bit narrower than I'd like. But overall the multi-compartment shoulder bag suits me better than the Glenna. ... show more
