First of all, I was on the fence about these boots for a long time. I finally purchased them and I am so glad I did! The packaging was magnificent! The boots came in their original box and each individual boot was in its own cloth baggie. It also came with an extra pair of laces in a different style. The boots have a side zip which is great for easy on/off. They look beautiful and are VERY comfortable! This has been something I struggle with…..finding cute shoes and boots that are also comfy! Not much in the arch support department, but there is room for an insole if you need it. I would say these run true to size. I am an 8.5 and that’s what I got. They have a bit of extra room in the toe but that is ok because you can wear a warm sock! All around winner!!!!

Bought these for a trip and they did not disappoint. We walked 60 miles during the week of the trip and I was wearing these shoes for a good half of that journey. They were comfortable for my slightly wide flat feet and look really cute with everything. Great quality for the price.

I bought these boots for a trip to visit my aunt in Ireland, and they did very well. It was cold and dry at that time and the boots are so wide it was easy to get heavy socks in them. They did well in the dampness and puddles we did come across, but they slid a lot at the heel even with inserts (Scholls) and heavy socks. No blisters, though, and I walked miles in them. Still, I wish they weren't so loose. I now understand the reviewer who mentioned cankles!

Really happy with these boots. They are comfortable for walking, hiking, or driving. I took them on a trip to the UK and walked endless miles of country roads and footpaths, in all kinds of weather. They kept my feet dry, warm, and comfortable. No break-in time at all. I live in a tropical climate, so I won't be able to wear them much at home unless we get some cool weather. But they will def be coming with me on any trip north. Fit is true enough to size. I normally wear a 9.5 in boots, and with the 9.5 I had enough room for decent socks. For very thick socks you may want to go up at least a half size. The fit is somewhat narrow in the toe box, so if you have wide feet this might be an issue. The length was fine.

I like this boot. Many, many years ago, I used to have an almost identical style (in leather) purchased from Eddie Bauer. I looked on their website and couldn’t find the boot. Not sure if they still make it or if it’s out of season. For the price this boot is stylish although a little boaty feel at the top of my feet, the length/size is perfect. My feet tend to expand and contract slightly so this may work out well. After wearing it for a few days, I can tell this boot may make my feet feel hot-meaning the synthetic material doesn’t breathe like leather. Because of that, this fall I’ll check back with Eddie Bauer in hopes they have the leather boot. For the deep discounted price, I’ll live with this boot for play days. Update to my previous review. It’s now Dec 2021 and colder weather has come to California . I’ve been wearing these boots as I fly up and down the state to see family and friends for a few months now. My goodness they are sooo comfortable and the cushion in the sole is soo soft when I’m walking the long corridors of the airport and sightseeing in the cities. I’m now sold on these boots for the comfort and beauty. I was concerned about the lack of breathing since they are synthetic but that’s not an issue at all. Also, I get so many compliments on their beauty. I’m ordering another pair in the darker brown or black. One thing that I’ve yet to figure out is how to get the shoe lace to stay tied. Both keep coming untied even if I tuck it it inside the top area. However, that’s minor and I’ll have a few kids help show me how to tie it securely. I love the side zipper as well. That helps In instances when airport metal detectors go off. These boots will trigger the security and they’ll have you remove them even in the TSA pre check line. No problem, the zipper makes it easy to slip back on after going thru security. I was also concerned about them feeling big at the top of my feet but now I do like that I’ve ordered a half size larger because this winter I’m wearing thicker socks. I can now comfortably recommend you give this boot a chance for comfort, style, ease of wear and reasonably priced. Good luck to everyone.

When I first got these boots they were very comfortable and better with rainy days at first, and the insoles were more comfy than other boots I had gotten. They looked very nice, too. But people shouldn't use these for anything but a good look, excessive working in them will most likely ruin them, because it's not what they're designed for. I'm writing a review as a warning to people who intend to use these boots for work. Though, I also docked a star for lacking durability, which I still think they should have lasted as long if not longer than walmart brand work boots. So, I like using boots like these for working. I work at a grocery store, so I need to do a lot of moving, and I even walk to work and back. So I do a lot of activity. I am also aware that this isn't really DESIGNED for work, so them breaking down so quickly is mostly my own fault. Though I figured maybe because of the price tag it would have maybe lasted at least half a year, like similar lower quality walmart work boots I got which lasted 6 or 8 months before falling apart. Sadly, after 3 months these boots' adhesives are starting to kick the bucket, and the sole is coming off on the right foot, and both shoes have sustained holes on the bottom. (Again, they're not designed for working), I am kinda sad because I did like these nice boots, I just had to ruin them. Don't do what I did!
