I haven’t been so happy about a shoe purchase in a long time. I’m in my late 20s, work in higher education, and live in a city with a lot of hills and inclement winter weather. I am not willing to commute in snow boots and switch out shoes at work, and I like having a lot of versatility in my closet, so I’ve been looking for a boot that pairs well with more professional workwear, elevates casual jeans or leggings, and that is sturdy and comfortable. Because I have unreasonably high expectations, I also didn’t want to spend a ton of money. And oh my gosh, this is the perfect boot! Versatile and super cute, with a grippy sole and just enough of a heel to feel elegant while not making me fall over. I got these boots in black and light brown, which is the perfect light cognac color. I can’t wait to wear them with workwear pants, dresses, jeans, and more. They even made my sweatpants look like a fashion statement! They are true to size, and I would even say you could size up a half size, if you plan to use the included insoles and wear fluffier socks. I went with my usual size (8.5) and added the insoles, which made the boots a little more snug, but definitely very comfortable and supportive, which is an absolute must for me. I can definitely see the issue some people had with the tops of the shoes cutting into ankles, but plan to wear longer socks until I break the shoes in a little bit. I am in love and would buy these in even more colors if there was more variety. I am super picky when it comes to shoes, so it’s not often my initial response is anything more than “eh, it’ll do.” But I knew these were perfect the moment I tried them on. Highly highly recommend!!

These are my staple shoes in the fall and winter. You can find me anywhere in these, dressing them up or dressing them down. They are comfy and so cheap for the quality of you ask me. These are a nice pair of shoes. Take my word for it, they’re my second pair and that’s only because I wore them to the bar too!

I am very new to wearing heels, but I found them very comfortable. I am on the heavier side and my feet held up pretty well, especially after a full day of classes and movement on campus and in classes. I like the classic look of them and the height of the heel, not too tall, not too short. I also like that you can dress them up with a nicer outfit and dress them down for a more casual look with jeans and a tshirt.

These boots are true to size. They are so comfy and even came with extra padded inserts. They have great tread on them. I live somewhere where it snows and I can stand and walk around in them all night long and my feet don’t hurt. I get so many compliments on them.

Sorry for the dirty mirror but these shoes are very sturdy and comfortable, the shape flatters my feet very well. Thanks for the extra padding. I’d say it’s worth the money, they feel like they’ll hold up really well!

Pros: 1) easy to walk and comfortable for a tall heel (I have bad knees and wedges are hard on them, this stacked heel seemed decent); 2) fit true to size, easy to get on and off because of zipper, I have a narrower foot and with the insole they give the fit is better but a wider foot would be fine; 3) look cute with a bunch of different bottoms. Cons: 1) cheap looking and cognac was yellower than I thought 2) Clunky to walk because they are a bit heavy so it is impossible to walk without lumbering around 4) front of boot digs into front of my calf 5) look funny when walking because of the way the toe curves up and the clunkiness of it. 6) heel wear greater than expected just from trying them on my hardwood floors for a minute. Sending them back, wish they were a darker richer brown, lighter weight, less clunky, a bit more streamlined and more durable.
