I purchased these to walk a construction job site, as my last pair were old and wore out. I wanted to replace them Doc’s again but just couldn’t afford the price right now. I search Amazon and these came up. I reviewed options of boots and settled on these based off my needs, reviews and size/color choices. I was impressed when I received. They were packed very nice, have dust bags and included was the cork inserts. You can only image how much that helps walking/standing on concert for several hours. They are easy to put in and pull off with the heel tan on the back. They are tall enough to keep debris out of the boot but short enough to not be cumbersome with pants or putting dust booties over them. They still have a great style to them and love the color options. I would recommend you give these a try. Your feet and wallet will love you for it.

I loved these boots for the first 3 months I owned them but in less than 5 months, both boots have split at the corner of the heel. This compromises the integrity of the heel, which is some sort of air cushioned baffled construction and means that with every step there is an audible vaguely fart like squishing noise as air escapes. More importantly, when the heel deflates and compresses, it completely alters the way the shoe reacts to pressure at each step and destabilizes my gait. Even worse, each shoe broke in a different corner, which means each side reacts differently and compounds the effect this has on my ankles, knees, hips and spine. I've had to go back to chiropractic to offset the effects of this asymmetric gait. The boots still look great on the shelf, no visible wear to the uppers, no fraying or popped stitches, but I can't wear them without being in pain from ankles to lower back by the of the day so I'm having to shop for a more study set to replace them. If I could return them, I would.

I love these boots they’re soft doesn’t take couple wears to break them in. I danced in them. I did stand for a long period of time waiting in line and only then did I feel uncomfortable in them.
