This duvet cover is incredibly soft and the deep color saturation is beautiful!! I didn’t think the color would be as striking in person, but it absolutely is!! I like that it has ties mid-way, not just at the corners, to keep your duvet in place. I typically prefer a zipper closure, but this one is so well done with buttons that it’s just fine. The buttons are sewn on securely and the button holes are perfectly sized to keep the buttons from slipping out. I washed and dried the cover before putting it on and it came out great. I didn’t bother to iron it as it will mostly be stored during the summer. I had no problem getting the cover on…I turned it inside out, put the duvet on top of it and did all the ties up, then turned it right side out so the duvet was sandwiched inside. I did up all the buttons and it’s ready to use. Highly recommend this cover; it exceeded my expectations!! ... show more

In my opinion, this duvet and matching pillow covers set is great for the price, however, the low price reflects the workmanship. I think of it as something that might be marked 'Irregular' on the package, and that wouldn't stop me from buying it, I just think it should be marked as such. CON: There are several places where the stitches don't look good; the pillow shams are huge compared to my queen-sized pillow case (I do not think I am going to use the shams). I washed the three pieces following the directions on the label but had to iron them because they were ridiculously wrinkled. PRO: The $9.99 price can't be beat; the shade of blue is a gorgeous color and the dye did not run in the wash. The material is not skimpy nor excessively soft (like microfiber)--it's fine as is. Since the duvet is under my bedspread and nobody sees most of it, I gave it 4-stars. As long as you understand the quality is not top notch, go ahead and pick up one or two sets. :-) ... show more

A surprisingly adequate duvet cover for the price. I had low expectations given the low price; however, this is a perfectly reasonable cover. While the fabric does feel a bit cheap, it is still sufficiently soft and not uncomfortable. The button closure is pretty high up on the back side -- depending on how the duvet is arranged on the bed and your height, you may brush your feet into it. The pillowcases are a little large for standard pillows, not unreasonably so, but noticeably. I have purchased duvet cover sets for 3 to 4 times as much that have been disappointing. This set is a good value and could be great for a camper or vacation home or for a temporary guest bed. ... show more
