EDITED 6/24/2022: It’s definitely gotten softer as I’ve washed it. Zipper and stitching still holding strong as are ties. Absolutely exceeded expectations. Now if you’ll excuse me I’m going back to bed where I’ve been the last 1.5 years 1/22: Some of these reviews are hilarious. So many people complaining about what is, in all actuality, how a $50 100% cotton duvet should be expected to be. It’s not super duper soft because it’s NOT microfiber! Its 100% cotton, it’s not rough like canvas or potato sacks, it is soft enough for me. And after it’s first wash I did feel a difference (but still not microfiber soft). Its well made, the stitching is even and strong, the zipper is well installed. It DOES wrinkle because AS OTHER THINGS THAT ARE 100% COTTON, IT WRINKLES!!! If that’s something that bothers you, you’ll need to iron it or, find something else. It doesn’t bother me. I don’t know if I love this because if the actual comforter I am using (filled with bamboo viscose) or this or a combo of both but it is definitely one of the most comfortable I have ever had. I’m never too hot or too cold, it’s not super fluffy but it’s so so comfy. WARNING: I dream of returning to my bed all day (I have also been known to bring it to where I watch TV and cuddle down in it!) If you aren’t super sensitive to a slightly rough texture, and don’t mind wrinkles (or are willing to do something to cure them), buy this cover!

After months of searching, I finally settled on this duvet cover as it met two of my requirements; cotton and this specific shade of green. For the price point, I wasn’t expecting much, but was willing to give it a shot. I’m happy to report that I am very pleased with this purchase! It protects my very pricey duvet without adding much weight and keeps me cool at night. I’ve washed it three times and it’s held up well! The ties keep my duvet in place and I love the zipper at the bottom. Give this duvet cover a shot! I’m considering purchasing another in a different color.

I was hoping this would last me a while, but after a few months, I am looking for a new one already. The green was the perfect shade, but my bed gets a little sunshine in the afternoon and anywhere the sun hits the duvet has faded from the nice green to faded green with a yellow hue. It's pretty ugly now. I have flipped it over to hide the faded parts on one side and I am looking for a new one to replace it with. I will add that the room I have this in is in a second home, so I am not there all the time and more often than not, the duvet is not getting any sun because I close up my house while I am gone. If it got daily, year round sun I could understand some fading, but this gets minimal sunshine and it still faded. I loved the color, but it faded quickly in minimal sun. EDIT: The company reached out to me about the fading. They have been awesome! I will shop here again for sure.
