So far so good, is very close to the color that you see if not that exact shade, we are using for an oval table and works well! It's a decent thickness and does not look cheap. I will update with washability/durability once I do so.

Gorgeous and easy to maintain with toddler flipping food all over it multiple times per day. It can be a bit slippery though depending on the material/finish of your table, so just make sure to put a nonslip rug mat underneath it, or another linen table cloth to keep it in place. (I would place a linen cloth underneath, knot it at the corners so it didn’t show, and that would keep the velvet cloth from moving). It is such a gorgeous piece with multiple uses. And can be maintained easily, if you’re promptly wiping up messes. I have washed mine in the washing machine already, and it does seem to lose some of its pile if placed in the dryer. Make sure to wash on gentle, then air dry. It’s a great find at a great price, and great for families with little ones too! ... show more

The velvet is not made from silk as in traditional velvet but polyester and is a velveteen vs a real velvet. The tablecloth is soft and pliable and relatively dense, and overall is decorative and plush looking, although more matte than silk velvet. I got 52" x 70" and it fit perfectly for my 2 person table with a good length hanging down. The camel color is more brown. In the picture it has kind of a orange brown tone. In person it is a bit browner. It is slippery so I laid it on a towel which helped. I will use scotch guard so I can wipe up minor spills etc. (I hate washing, lol) The pile is short and a bit inconsistent in sheen, but nothing that would make me return it. Overall it is beautiful, fun, funky and makes a statement especially with the soft ruffles. When I took it out of the bag I put it in the dryer on high for 10 minutes, along with a damp quilt to get the wrinkles out. It came out de-wrinkled and fluffy. Put it right on the table. Love it so far! ... show more
