I loved these stockings. They are silky soft, just the perfect amount of sheer and the are very durable. I have worn them several times and had washed in the sink. They fit perfectly and hold me in a little bit too. The toe is smooth and no big seam. These are a quality pair of tights.

These tights are listed as 40D, so they are quite opaque. Mind you, that's why *I* bought them, but for someone who maybe wants a more sheer look - these are not for you. They are perfect with a skirt or dress to keep legs warm in chilly weather (I'm in Northern California, so chilly to me is upper 30s in the morning with daytime highs in the upper 40s to low 50s). The surprising thing about them was that, unlike most tights, these don't build up static against cotton-type fabrics. Total bonus! (Will update after I try them with a polyester garment to see if the anti-static holds true). They also seem to have a hidden reinforced toe, which is always helpful! Overall, awesome tights; will be buying additional pairs. UPDATE: Same lack of static applies when worn with polyester blend dresses - total awesomeness!
