Excellent choice and easy to put together. It arrived banged up so I was a little worried, but it's packed so well there wasn't an issue. I could put my laptop up on the shelf but I prefer it next to me. It's slightly deeper than my last desk and that makes a huge difference... it's much more comfortable. The motor is quiet and smooth, no issues there. I also like that it has a back piece that you can attach cable management pieces to. It makes for a cleaner look. I am very pleased with this desk. As with all things you have to assemble, it took a little while, but all parts needed were clearly marked in packaging and all holes lined up! That's a win! It is a good size and works well. My back is grateful that I'm no longer sitting all day.

I think this is a nice desk, but I can only give it 2 stars because I've had to return both desks I've received. The first one I ordered had an uneven sitting top, which I'm never really upset if there's an issue because Amazon is amazing with their return and replacement policy. So I returned that one, got sent a replacement, and sadly the second desk I received had issues as well. The holes for the riser that sits on the desktop were marked incorrectly, and the space in between the riser and where the person would sit was reduced. The pictures and dimensions show you should have roughly 19 inches of space between the two, the second desk I received had less than 16 inches of space. I'm sure I just got unlucky both times, it happens, but I won't be ordering this desk for a third time, and I was unable to even do so on Amazon anyway. So it's a sign that this won't be my office desk. Update- I wanted to write this little update because the customer service I received for this product was tremendous. They were very kind and understanding. Had I not been on a bit of a time crunch to obtain a desk, I would have ordered from them again. I can't give anything higher than a 3 star only because I don't have the product due to needing to return it, but their customer service was truly great, and I have no doubt I wouldn't have been dissapointed had I got another replacement for this desk.
