Coming from farms located in the south of Brazil (Rio Grande do Sul), it undergoes an innovative tanning process where no chrome, heavy metals or dangerous acids are involved. By simplifying the tanning process, the use of chemicals and energy is limited, the use of water is reduced by about 40% and the use of salt by 80%. After tanning, the water is recyclable.

I did a lot of research and went with a lot of reviews that said they run big, for me that was not the case. I am normally a 7, but first ordered a 6.5. My toes were right at the top. I ordered a 7 and they fit length wise perfectly. I have fairly normal/narrow feet and this style is a little wider than my normal shoes. For reference my left foot measures 9.5” and my right foot is 9.26”. Wore them all day yesterday and have no issues today. They are stylish, cute, and I loved wearing them! Absolutely love these shoes!! I’ve been wanting Vejas for years and finally decided to get them. I’m a size 7/7.5 and these fit well! They do make a sound when walking so I just oiled them up and no more sound. There is no cushion but for some reason my feet felt fine even after hours. My feed is on the wider side. Love the leather quality and the simplicity of these! A little heavier compared to my other leisure sneakers but it’s comfy. It does take a bit to break in but I could walk in these for a while and won’t have any issues.

The media could not be loaded. I was desperate to love these. I love the aesthetic and love the idea of velcro adult shoes. However, they fell flat, especially for the price point. 1. I guess I am between sizes. I typically wear an 8.5 American size in tennis shoes. These don't come in that size, so I ordered both an 8 and a 9. The 9 was way too big. It seemed like a giant men's shoe. The 8 fits mostly, but it rubbed the tip of my big toe just a bit. I was afraid this could be really bad, depending on the type of socks I wore. 2. These are VERY flat. There is ZERO arch support. This was not the end of the world to be, as I can just put in an insert. However, when I put in the low-profile inserts I have, the shoe would not stay on. The heel design is so low that any lift of the foot inside the shoe is too much for the heel to stay on. Overall if these were $100 I could argue keeping them. However with these 2 issues the price point is way out of touch. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. This is my second pair of Veja sneakers, and I love them just as much as the first! The design is beautiful and modern, and the quality is excellent. They’re super comfortable and easy to wear all day. Definitely one of my favorite sneaker brands — worth every penny!
