I've never been able to get used to the weight and size of the z-fold, so I end up dropping it pretty often multiple times a day. The case finally got a big enough crack in it today that I have to get a new one so here I am again after 6 months. The only drawback of the case is the hard plastic texture of the spine and the camera cover. If you're a weirdo like me and can't stand to touch certain textures I'd recommend against it because it can't help with grip if you don't want to touch it in the first place. Everyone else in my family is ok with so I left the rating at 5 stars. Idk what to tell you about the size, it's already obviously a little bulky, but that's just how phones are nowadays. But really if you have a z-fold, you already know it doesn't fit into puny women's pockets anyways, so what's a little extra thickness gonna do? But also consider that you'll be holding this thing in your hand so again if textures bother you, keep that in mind. The ring stand only really works if the phone is folded, but at the very least it's way sturdier than the other case I tried. Just know that the phone won't be able to sit flat on anything because of it. (PROS: your phone is like a fidget spinner! CONS: you are very tempted to use your phone like a fidget spinner) I'm not entirely sure I want to get this again because of the texture thing, but my phone is completely unharmed thanks to this case, so I may as well I guess. ... show more

It's a solid case. A bit dorky looking on the back. Unfortunately the kickstand mechanism on the back makes it impossible to charge tirelessly. (Is wirelessly a word?) I dropped the phone on concrete and the case cracked, but the phone was not damaged.

This case is amazing. I work in the construction field. 🚧 extremely hard on my phone gets dropped allot, gets bumped by tools, has people knock it off things. This case lasted a year of abuse and the only thing it had was a loose lense cover slide. Recently I dropped it right onto gravel face down from about 6 ft and it's screen finally cracked. I have had this case for over a year now. I drop my phone at least once a day and work in a warehouse. I dropped it today and freaked out. The front screen cracked pretty badly. I went to get my front screen protector that I had put up knowing the cracked screen could cut my hand. I took the front part off and my phone is still in perfect condition. The Crack was the screen protector on the front attached to the case. The only downfall is that the slider for the camera cover stops working eventually. I like the case material and that the hinge protector is textured. I like having the option to cover the rear camera lenses, but it also covers the flashlight. The ring is my biggest complaint. In theory, it helps stabilize the phone when I'm holding it one-handed. I was very excited for this, as my previous case didn't have a ring, and I've seen a loy of other people using one. In reality, it does almost nothing because it's so much bigger than my finger. I have to have the ring turned at a sharp angle and hold my fingers in an awkward position to be able to securely hold it one-handed, which makes my finers and palm start to cramp in very little time. So I don't use the ring. Very disappointed. The ring part of the case sticks out further than the back of the case, so it does not lay flat. It wobbles top to bottom when I'm using it while it's laying on a surface. However, I have dropped my phone several times while it's in this case, and so far my screens and the case itself have been undamaged. Overall, will not buy this case again, will try to find something thst better fits my needs. ... show more

I have had my Flip 3 for over two years. I had a spigen case on it the entire time. It lasted great, but was bulky. It was time to reset the spigen case (adhesive will come off after 8ish months) so I figured it was time to try another case. This new case is a vast improvement. I feel like the protection is a bit more stout, and in a thinner package. Application is extremely easy compared to the spigen.
