These are very nice. Good quality. They came in one box, as a pair. It includes two small screwdrivers with flippable driver - flathead and phillips. And two sets of hardware. If you have a power tool to do the screws it will go a little faster. Bags of hardware tidy and clearly labeled. The instructions are good. It took a moment to adjust to their style. But it made sense. It took a little over an hour to construct both. They are replacing the ones that were ruined when my landlord harassed us in mail and text for over a week to prepare for the arctic blast. And then didn't prepare property pipes like the outdoor spigot that flooded my home and destroyed my furniture. I am still so angry. Who can afford to replace furniture???? I got a very nice deal on these by being patient and vigilant which made replacing nightstands a little less stressful. They are very similar to the ones I lost. I might like them a teeny tiny bit more because the drawers slide so smoothly and don't sag down when open! ... show more

The end tables I had prior to getting these had no storage capacity at all. These end tables have a medium size drawer that you can put several small items (remotes, eye glasses, keys, etc) in rather than crowding them on top as you would have to do with other end tables. I hesitated because of the reviews but this was the right width, color, and style for my room and budget (though honestly I'd have spent a little more if I could have found something in this shade and style at a higher quality, but most options are rustic industrial farmhouse warehouse postmodern or something it seems). I wanted a drawer and a little shelf (the cube storage bin in the finished photo is one I bought separately. This is working out great, though I wish it were taller (beds/mattresses are generally so high these days that nightstands need to be higher but it'll do). Because people mentioned difficulty assembling, I was prepared to send it back, but really wanted to make these work so I planned to spend plenty of time and I read the instructions very carefully. They really are printed too small but I was able to manage, and I can see where this would be difficult to assemble if a person weren't already used to assembling furniture like this. I'm not at all handy but fortunately I am used to putting together furniture that's been ordered online so I didn't have any trouble with getting the assembly right -- but only because I took my time and was very careful with the instructions. I took particular care with the roller things for the drawer, and the drawers work perfectly. The bottom of the drawer reminds me of the backing you'll often get for bookshelves, which isn't solid wood but again is perfectly fine for a bedside drawer of this sort. Despite being so careful, each of the nightstands were ever so slightly wobbly. Not so off that a piece of cardboard would help balance, but on a wood or laminate floor you'd notice so I put a Band-Aid down under one of the back legs and that was the exact right height. Long story short, these look nice, they are just what I needed, but no, at this price point you're not going to get super-sturdy high quality furniture. But I'm very happy with them. You'll want to allow plenty of time to assemble them, and be careful not to screw in the screw bolt things (A) that are in the third picture too strongly, especially when they are close to the edge on one piece (doesn't show from the outside but I wish I hadn't done that). The instructions tell you not to screw them in too deep but to make sure you screw them enough, so if I'd stopped one screw-movement short it would have been just right. ... show more

These things are such pieces of crap…the instructions aren’t great and the construction is terrible. Not really sure why we were expecting better considering the price. After putting them together, we looked at the listing again and noticed that there’s cracks in the pictures they used on the product page for this! I guess they know that these pieces of particle board are going to splinter, so they don’t want to be accused of false advertising? If you put some books on top, it wobbles back and forth. I didn't like that the instructions were only pictures (no directions) but the quality of the tables were more than I expected. Once I put the first one together, the second one was pretty easy. STYLE-1 drawer, color black (2 stands) I had a hard time searching for two small stands that would fit in a small space. I also wanted them to look modern, yet antique...eey. At first I skeptical due to some concerning negative reviews. But I figured... what the heck.. I'll buy them and see what I can work with. I sanded the edges a little, darkened the edges with light colored furniture flaw cover up pens and placed painted wood appliques & bracket corners on them (the drawers open at the sides). The instructions were easy except for a few wooden pegs and posts that weren't very legible. It was confusing, so it was trial and error when I realized where the placement of the posts were actually supposed to go. I liked the flathead/Phillips screwdriver which was also in the kit. Helped make the assembly so much easier. Whole process took about an hour. Would've taken less time assembling due to the illustration confusion. It helps to layout all the pieces before putting this together. The process will go much smoother. I would purchase this again. You get two stands that you'd normally pay $60-80 in Department stores for just one. I think mine turned out really well. I hope this review and extra photos helps others. ... show more
