If you're like me, and you're looking for a console table that's modern, sturdy, has that specific look you're after. This table is it. I didn't want to spend $200-300 on a table that had these dimensions and be crafted from cheap particle board and be down right ugly. I stumbled across this in my week search of a table that was in the right price range, size and look. It had that modern look, and being metal, I knew it'd be sturdy against two large cats. I also bought two and just pushed them together. I wanted a long single piece but I'm not gonna complain! It looks great either way 😊 They arrived promptly and packaged well. Set up is fairly easy. Make sure to match the faces with each other so that you don't end up with wonky legs. These are sturdy legs and having them be wonky isn't gonna do you any good in the long run. The wood pieces are veneered particle board, but for the price they are pretty nice and dare I say, higher quality than IKEA. The only qualm I have is the welds on the side pieces on the top. They push against the wooden tops and cause it to be a pain in the you-know-what to screw them in. I had to have my boyfriend grind one part down because it was close to 1/4" off the metal edge. But other than that, I'm 100% in love with these and I'm glad I hunted for what I wanted. We do plan on putting some type of felt basket in a darker color on the bottom shelf, just have to find the right one! You won't be disappointed with these! ... show more

Update: After a party and wet drinks and spills top of furniture is still good. Happy thus far. I have been wanting this for a while and finally got it. The furniture is very sturdy and well made. As soon as I opened the shipping box, which was heavily damaged itself, I noticed how half of the corners on both shelves had significant damage. It looks as if the shelves were both damaged by water and by being knocked around. I was searching the internet for something that could do two things for Me. #1. Hold Fire Wood #2 Look Cute. I’ve been using it less than a month, but I can’t believe how sturdy it is. The amount of wood that can be stored surprises me a lot! The assembly was easy and all the pieces and parts were there! I still need to find some cute baskets to put on the middle shelf for hats and gloves. I modified it a bit but adding hooks on the side for my kids to hang up their coats. It worked out perfect! First of all this thing is very sturdy which was great, compared to my last night stand which fell apart. These have metal parts to them and better quality wood and priced right. The stands are well built and easy to assemble with the parts all labeled well even the screws and bolts have their own pouch which was labeled also. Took me about 15 min to assemble one but the second one took only about 10 min since I knew what goes where after putting the first one together. Everything can be assembled with basic hand tools so nothing special needed. Instructions were easy to read and clear. If you need a nice little end tables check these out! ... show more

Another perfect buy from Amazon. I needed a stand in the bedroom a hair taller than my bed that my 43" LED TV would fit on. It was a perfect. It did the trick. Not too difficult to put together if you follow the instructions. Hint: Turning the table up on its short side before attaching the top shelf was the key... I would give more of 3.5 but I rounded up. If you plan to NOT put fragile items on here and NOT looking for super sturdy then it's perfect. It was cheaper then the Ikea one I was going to get so I opted for this one. It's a really nice shelf but the putting it together is a bit of challenge. The individual parts are not labeled but it's not suepr difficult to figure out. I like it, it does the job of keeping things organized but like I said if you want something super sturdy that won't wiggle I would recommend not this one. I have a 5 gallon tank and a printer on it, the only concern is if there's an earthquake (I live in Ca) it's not the top tier for preventing shaking. The assembly directions are very hard to understand. I do not think an average person without assembly experience and common sense could use them to put the tables together. I ordered two sets and one of the 4 boxes was MISSING the bottom of the drawer part. Another had an extra side panel. It was also VERY easy to accidentally pound the dowels through the top of the table, which happened on one.
