I chose these shelves purposefully for the folding design and the easy assembly. They are beautiful and just unfold and snap together. Even with all of my books and things they are sturdy. I'm so happy I got these open metal shelves and not something made of cheap particle board.

I bought one of these units last year. I wanted a second one for Christmas town display this year. The product picture and description is the same as last year. I paid extra for the Teak color to match the one I bought before. However, the shelf delivered is the 2 halves frame assembly. There is a noticeable gap at one of the six unions that bolt together. The lace sides are not a mirror match to the no-assembly frame I received last year. I plan to keep the second one because the look is in the same "family" and they will not be placed side by side. If that is your intent, I recommend buying all you want in the same order. Update: Frame gap was too noticeable. Disassembled and returned. Requested replacement as described. If the box is not 62"+ tall, I will return for refund. ... show more
