I ordered this to determine if a lawn mower engine was worth rebuilding. The engine had set for 10 years without use. So my analysis showed rebuilding would not be sensible. The total cost of parts needed would exceed the cost of a new engine. (Tecumseh engine, very little use). So this tester helped me come to my senses. I wanted the challenge of rebuilding the engine (which I have done before). But when I saw a new Briggs 875 Pro 190 cc engine on Amazon for $149 I jumped and restored the deck instead of the old engine. So, the right tool is helpful even in making an intelligent decision.
