This wig (the dark brown) is very dark, level 3 or so. It's a nice thickness and great texture. It's moderately shiny but not too shiny which is nice. It's comfortable to wear and the style keeps its shape well. It's soft and not at all prone to tangles. The bangs are quite long which gives you the option to trim them how you like. It fits great even with all my long hair tucked up . ( last picture ) This wig has plenty of hair and has lots of movement . It does not look like fake shiny wig hair at all, it’s very comfortable and lightweight and I absolutely love it. In fact, I’m going to order more colors. I love the style . This also was boxed very nice with a net over the hair & tissue paper to keep its shape inside the crown . Let me tell you of the extra surprises included , false eyelashes , stickers & two wig caps. Introduction: Let me start out by saying my natural hair is very close to the same colour as the wig (darker golden roots ombre faded down into the same honey platinum as the wig hair). So, it was much easier for me—to frame my face with my own hair, and to blend & braid my own hair into the wig—than it would be for someone who's hair is not so similar. Two of my example photos are taken indoors next to the natural sunlight coming in a window, with no filter. The other one is taken on a different day (so, different braid at the top also) in warm incandescent indoor light, with a portrait filter. Quick Overview: This is a very decent wig, for an extremely good price! I have chronic illness and sometimes it's hard to even have the energy to shower, let alone do my hair & makeup & just everything. So I bought this in hopes of having a quick, low-maintenance way to feel pretty & put-together enough to leave the house more easily/often. More In-Depth: Pros: The hair is soft. It's thick & has nice body, but not too unrealistically poofy. It has a very nice colour mix. It does not smell in any way. The curl stays beautifully even when brushed (BASS boar-bristle brush with nylon pins worked very well). It responds well to a bit of natural ingredient hairspray. It doesn't/didn't shed much at all. It's not nylon-doll-hair shiny & does not need dry shampoo to look real. Cons: The "natural" part is not the best. It's not a lace-front wig, so I didn't expect it to be awesome anyway. The best way to explain it is that because the hairs are all specifically rooted in a particular direction, there is no real way to soften the part. So it is very much like doll hair (think American Girl dolls) in that way; just a very straight line with hair on either side going straight down, that cannot be brushed into any other position. Also, the simulated scalp is kind of a sickly greyish-ivory, so it's not super natural, but at least it exists. There are no clips or combs inside the wig, so it tends to slide a bit, even once adjusted to the correct size. It's actually a little less shiny than natural hair. Fixes: Plucking the straight-lined part, truly does help. Especially if you take time to Google images of natural hair parts and kind of map your plucking based on where hair is normally thinner & thicker along the part-line. Just don't pluck the bangs/fringe because the weft is pretty thin there and the lowest weave hem will show up very easily. Wearing the wig so that the part is off to one side—rather than directly in the middle—helps it to look a bit less "perfect" and more human. Your local beauty supply store or Amazon sells the clips/combs that are specifically meant to be sewn into wigs & extensions. So when I get around to it, I'll definitely do that, and you could too. If you're going to try to blend your natural hair into the wig hair, spraying a little dry shampoo on your hair (rather than the wig hair) is just the ticket for equalizing shine levels. Overall: This is a very pretty, soft, fun, cute, stylish, and all around decent wig. Especially for the price. I'm glad I bought it, it's super nice to wear, and exactly what is hoped for! ... show more

I recently had to shave my head from shoulder length hair and I've been buying a bunch of lower-cost wigs to get used to them and experiment. This is by far my favorite wig, and I've bought from other amazon sellers, from ImStyle, from SHEIN, WeekendWigs, SpaceMilk, and even locally. I have a small head - like, child sized small - and a short forehead, so I had to trim the bangs and the sides above the ears, but the wefts are sturdy and survived the trimmings. For my small head, I was able to easily adjust the wig to fit with the hooks in the back and I was actually able to get the hooks in without taking off the wig, which was a big plus. I have a buzz cut now, so I don't wear a wig cap, but I use a wig grip with this and it stays put through brushing, styling, and existing. I'm so so very happy with this. I bought it in green but I'm for sure going to buy it in a bunch of different colors. ... show more

This wig was very good for the price. It didn’t work well for me because the wig cap is much too large (I have a very small head and very little hair) and nothing I did made it look like it fit my head. It kept its shape well. The hair was not very soft and was stiff in the way that it moved. Couldn’t really style it. I had an undercut that I chopped off and I'm growing out. I wore this a few times to go out when my hair was in some really awkward, short, in-between stages of growing out. My friends said it looked very "me" and natural. The part is a little straight. I chopped the bangs a lot shorter because I prefer baby-bangs. It's very full and soft. I haven't tried to style it, I don't think that'd work. It's cuter with a hat.
