Even though I REALLY DO NOT LIKE the fact that it stains my sheets after application if I put it on before bed, I really really love the overall quality. The smell is so delicious. It makes my skin so soft and supple-- Vaseline went all out and really was put a lot of thought in for the melanin-rich ladies. It is a great product, I just wish it did not stain so bad, and I wish it came in a bigger bottle. It is quite expensive in my opinion for the size, but it is worth every penny. It has a color similar to the color on the bottle, it is translucent with shimmery glitter all throughout the mixture and it has a great feel when you apply it to your skin. It rubs in like butter and is OH SO moisturizing. I highly recommend if you love feeling moisturized and every inch of you cared for with a body oil. I started using this Vaseline Illuminate Me Shimmering Body Oil a few days ago and I immediately fell in love with it. I'm definitely going to stock up because I never want to be without this wonderful product. A subscription is a must! After I do my daily shower routine, I top it off with this shimmering oil, and the last thing I do is put a little on my cheeks and forehead...instant glow! I have pale white skin that tends to be on the dry side. It's very hard to find products that will moisturizer my skin and give it a shimmering glow, especially my face. Well, this stuff is a miracle in a bottle - the moisture it puts into my skin, and the pretty shimmer it leaves behind is amazing. Even though it's only been a few days, the results haven't gone unnoticed by friends and family, especially my husband. But, most importantly, I see a difference in my skin and it makes me happy. The scent of this oil is VERY light, almost nonexistent. Plus, the oil consistency is not super thick, which allows it to absorb quickly. This oil is pretty decent! I would prefer more shimmer but the way my skin feels after applying this fresh out the shower while my body is still wet makes up for it! As for smell, I was expecting a cocoa butter type but it's instead a light sot scent.

this body oil is amazing.. Leaves a beautiful shimmer, not glitter, on your skin . feels luxurious but not greasy. It also smells wonderful. I purchased the Kopari shimmer oil at a much higher price but the vaseline brand looks exactly the same and smells better too. I highly recommend!!!

the pros: incredibly hydrating, absorbs quickly into the skin, the nozzle turns to lock, leaves me glowing, the price point is good, dispenser doesn't get clogged... the cons: it's not as sparkly/shimmery as i'd expect it. i expected more gold sparkle, i realized that i ended up super hydrated and moisturized with a spec of gold glitter here and there after application. the photos of the product are deceiving. there is an issue with the cap, it never stays on. overall: i do like it for the longetivity and how nice and moisturized it makes my skin feel, but i'll be searching for a product that has more sparkle/shimmer while being equally as hydrating. that's what i want!! ... show more
