I started using this Vaseline Illuminate Me Shimmering Body Oil a few days ago and I immediately fell in love with it. I'm definitely going to stock up because I never want to be without this wonderful product. A subscription is a must! After I do my daily shower routine, I top it off with this shimmering oil, and the last thing I do is put a little on my cheeks and forehead...instant glow! I have pale white skin that tends to be on the dry side. It's very hard to find products that will moisturizer my skin and give it a shimmering glow, especially my face. Well, this stuff is a miracle in a bottle - the moisture it puts into my skin, and the pretty shimmer it leaves behind is amazing. Even though it's only been a few days, the results haven't gone unnoticed by friends and family, especially my husband. But, most importantly, I see a difference in my skin and it makes me happy. The scent of this oil is VERY light, almost nonexistent. Plus, the oil consistency is not super thick, which allows it to absorb quickly. Photo after it’s dried. I had read previous reviews and I saw how amazing this looked on melanin rich skin. At the time there were not really any reviews from light skinned people, so I was nervous to purchase. It works beautifully on my lighter skin. It adds the lightest amount of shimmer so if you want diamond super shine don’t purchase this one. Has a light lovely scent. And it dries on me nicely. Leaving me soft and slightly shimmery. It smells really good. I only did a patch test. The shimmer is gone now but I did it on my hand so that could be why The scent fades after an hour or so but I think it’s good for us layering ladies. Update: used it on my whole body I was shimmering delightfully the entire day and my skin is soft as butter. Great moisturizing body oil. Lots of glitter, which was something I wanted. As a warning, the glitter will transfer everywhere and to everything but it washes out with just some soap and water. Not sticky at all and left my skin feeling a bit oily at first but once it absorbed it was not bad. The moisturizing is not super long lasting but its fine for a night or day.
