Very sturdy and just the right size. The inside of this table can hold several large comforters and throws and the top does not scratch easily. The table arrived in multiple pieces but was fairly easy to put together on my own. The table is lightweight once put together and can be moved easily. I wish the table top had springs to prevent it from slamming shut but otherwise this is a great table. ... show more

Why did you pick this product vs others?: This coffee table perfectly matched my decor and overall "rustic" theme of my home. It's very sturdy and the storage inside is enough to hold all my son's toys. My two 16 year olds put it together, so it's pretty easy to put together, it took them about an hour total to build it. Exactly what I expected, perhaps a little darker wood than planned, but still looks good. Super heavy/sturdy when complete, which I liked. Great storage for blankets. I assembled this myself and it was no issues until the brackets had to be placed on, then I felt it should have been a 2 person job. The inner brackets went in easily, though one screw just kept going and nothing to hang onto in the wood, so I feel that should be replaced in the future so it doesn't grow weak in that spot. Outer brackets the provide safety closure was the hassle to put on for one person, but I did manage. Took me 2.5 hours to put together. ... show more
