I have this next to a reading chair and while I may not be putting a light on the table, its effective for placing our electronics on it while they are charging. Its short enough that its perfect height for sitting and would be perfect next to a standard height bed, if used for a nightstand. I do wish it had a small drawer for the cords, as I bought Apple and Android USB cables for guests to charge as well. These are great little end tables. Putting them together took maybe 20 minutes for both. They look good, and it is nice having charging stations right by the couch. The kids really like it since they always want to be on their phones. Warning, they are small, so if you have a giant couch or bed, these will look small next to it. I really like this table. It is easy to put together and I like that the plugs aren't on the top so I have the whole table to use for other things. It is a little bit smaller than I expected but it still works for my purposes and the space.

This had arrived earlier in the day and it was fairly late when we got home. However I decided to have a look at it and was both delighted at the quality and that it looked easy to assemble, so I thought I would do it before going to bed. What a dream to assemble - I actually enjoyed doing it! Everything was provided and it fitted together perfectly using the hex key tools with the kit. There was even a bag of spare parts.
